While it is unclear if it was done on purpose or by mistake, moments ago a folder within what appears to be the Wikileaks server has opened at the address https://file.wikileaks.org/file/ which provides a glimpse into thousands of doc, pdf, wav, jpg and various other files, as well as dozens of subdirectories including Videos, Syria-files, Collateral Murder, Japan Bribery Affair, and many others.
It is unclear what the basis of this disclosure is, although some are speculating that it may be the release of one of Wikileaks' so-called insurance files, which in light of today's speculation about the fate of Assange, may indicate that things are about to get to a climax vis-a-visthe trove of information in Wikileaks' possession.

What is up with the 1984 date?
All files were likely hit with a Unix “touch” command to obscure the original date timestamp. That helps reduce possibility of tracking back to a source computer to protect whoever dumped the data.
Fascinating phone conversation between contractor and government concerning some “investigation”. It'd be interesting to know the parties and context of the call. If it's HRC’s email server contractor on the line, it's obvious there are MAJOR issues with security...

I was curious about the boatload of Scientology files and was able to open some PDF’s
Not encrypted. The PDF’s open and there’s nothing to indicate the other files don’t.
This is going to take a few minutes.
I suggest some starting at the bottom and go up and break the starting points into 10ths.

From what I gather the actual files are there and can be opened.
I’m opening some. A lot are pdf files.
