FBI Files on Hillary’s Emails Reveal "Shadow Government" Was in Charge of Her Investigation

A page from the FBI’s publicly released documents from the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server reveals that a group literally called “the shadow government” was overseeing the inquiry.

“There was a powerful group of very high ranking STATE officials that some referred to as “The 7th Floor Group” or “The Shadow Government.” This group met every Wednesday afternoon to discuss the FOIA process, Congressional records and everything CLINTON-related to FOIA/Congressional inquiries,” states page 56 of the document.

The document goes on to list some members of this “shadow government,” which includes John Kerry and Jonathan Finer, Chief of Staff and Director of Policy Planning at the State Department, and Patrick Kennedy, undersecretary of state for management.


Yesterday it was reported that Kennedy “tried in late June or early July of last year to get the FBI to change a classified email to unclassified” as part of a “quid pro quo” deal under which the State Department would allow the FBI to place more agents in foreign countries.

The revelation that there is a group literally known as “the shadow government” within the State Department, proven by FBI documents, is going to be hard for the mainstream media to dismiss as another “tin foil hat” conspiracy theory.

Respondents on the Reddit conspiracy sub-forum, where the post went viral, were suitably amazed.

“Pretty much this, I mean i knew sh*t was bad, but I had no idea it was THIS bad,” wrote one.

“Man, my head might explode if we get the names of the shadow government. This is truly a time of the world when everything is bananas. I’m glad I’m here to see it, it’s really interesting,” added another.

Okay, I looked it up. Apparently "it's" is a special case in which the apostrophe does not denote ownership.

To my knowledge, every other noun in the English language will denote ownership by adding an apostrophe and an "s".

From some reason the English scholars have flipped the script for the word "it" and "its" denotes ownership and "it's" is a contraction for "it is".

I never knew this. (Or if I did, I forgot it decades ago.) Why would anyone know this? It violates the normal rule. It is like the word "weird" which also violates the normal rule.

I will try to remember this quirk of English in the future.
