Politico Co-Founder: Trump Could Lose Texas, Race Not ‘Remotely Close’
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 10/18/2016 5:39:39 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Remember Wendy Davis? She was the Texas Democrat who became an MSM darling for her filibuster against a state law restricting abortions. Davis exploited her 15-minutes of fame by running for Governor of Texas in 2014. But despite the backing of an adoring press, Davis got demolished, losing by more than 20 points to Greg Abbott. For the record, my home county of Hood showed its scorn by awarding Davis all of . . . 18.9% of the vote.

So when on today’s Morning Joe, Politico co-founder Jim VandeHei claimed that Hillary Clinton is so far ahead that she has a better shot at winning Texas than Trump has of winning the presidency, this adopted Texan had to laugh.

They truly are stretching here .

Clinton will take Travis County and the lower RGV. But, last I heard, Trump was the leader in El Paso -- of all places.

No way she even comes close in Texas...

There is nothing new about liberal media bias.

What is new is the depth and effectiveness of it.

Television is a sort of brainwash machine that has the ability to bypass the normal cognitive or analytical aspects of the brain and go straight for the emotion centers.

Network Television has also eliminated all opposing viewpoints in it's personnel and now functions as a massive echo chamber of Liberal thought.

This is not your father's Oldsmobile.

"The media is "overwhelmingly owned out of New York" for a reason, and BroJoeK, you know exactly what that reason is, though you are dead set against admitting it."

Didn't I just learn the NY Times is owned by a gazillionaire from Mexico?
So who else owns New York?

I drove down 77 today and you are exactly right, Trump signs everywhere. There are two polls out today showing Trump up 2 and 3. Not sure what to make of it.

Clinton has as much of a chance of winning Texas as Trump has of winning New York or California.

You've no doubt heard Einstein's definition of insanity.

It's been proven beyond a doubt that the media is an arm of the RAT party.

Why are you letting them into your head?

Thanks. The names are similar and so are their half-cocked views.

Dear Conservatives: Politico’s Jim VandeHei Is Playing You for Suckers … AgainByJohn Nolte

@NolteNC
October 6, 2016

Jim VendeHei, the left-winger who co-founded the left-wing Politico, is up to his old tricks again, and conservatives must not fall for them again. You might personally like VandeHei, but don’t let that cloud the fact that he is a brilliant conman with a very specific playbook (if you’ll pardon the pun). Don’t forget that in 2006, he ran this playbook on y’all and we all fell for it — and the results were catastrophic.
