Just turn the phone off, won’t accept a fingerprint when it is turned back on, have to enter password. That is on iPhone don’t know about androids.

A good reason never to use the fingerprint unlock. I do not. If you do use it, you should not use either index finger. Then press your index finger if ordered. "I guess I'm so upset at having my God-given constitutional rights trampled that something must be happening with my blood pressure, or whatever. I should probably go to the hospital."
