WikiLeaks Confirms: Ecuador Cut Off Assange's Web Access

Mystery Solved. Apparently John Kerry put the heat on Ecuador, and it worked. They took away Julian Assange's internet access. Apparently right after the first transcripts of Hillary's Wall Street speeches went out.

He couldn’t just have someone drop in with a cellular air card?

Have a friendly set up a wifi hotspot beyond the embassy wall?

He could use dial up.

If you denied your teenager access to your home internet...they’d probably have internet back by hook or by crook with the day.

“This just gave him publicity and made the government look bad.”

No internet access means that he cannot communicate with the outside world. That apartment in the Ecuadorian Embassy is going to get very small.

1. I’m not surprised. Little Ecuador might want to tweak Uncle Sam’s nose (or not), but it isn’t really in a position to get away with it right now.

2. I am certain that Assange has other means to communicate with the world, and I’m equally sure that little or none of what he has that matters is on his computer(s) in that embassy.

3. Hey, Julian: Release the Krakken! There’s a “dead-man’s switch” that he, himself, has said is in place. If he dies, etc., then all of the information he has gets released. I’d like to see him do this right now.

Since Assange is some kind of anarchist, shouldn't his operation be set up so that it doesn't depend entirely on one person?

It's not much of a revolution if everything comes down to whether one guy can pull up google on his phone.

Oh, so the keys are now out there, the pin has been pulled from the grenade, if Assange doesn’t call it back or cancel it, it goes on its own. Pretty cool.

Does Kerry REALLY think that Assange has those emails in his possession only? I will guarantee several people have access to release those emails. Assange is not stupid.

Kerry on the other hand...

Might as well let it all go. May not be exactly according to his preferred schedule, but it’s his best bet to remain breathing. They MAY try to kill him for revenge, but they will CERTAINLY try to kill him if they think there’s a chance to stop him.

I’m still waiting for emails to and from Herself.

Pretty much.

If Assange did it right, there are multiple keys to multiple locks which have been out there since long before anyone knew they even existed at all.

From Obama’s public threats to Russia, it seems like Assange has the digital equivalent to the detonation device for a nuclear warhead, not the pin to a grenade.

The original tweet indicated they had a contingency plan in effect. So not surprised would have more news releases today. WikiLeaks ✔ @wikileaks Julian Assange's internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans. 12:33 AM - 17 Oct 2016

Subject: NYT Bill Clinton story

Granted that Amy Chozick will not go down in the history of great political reporters, it get tiring enduring stories about the brilliant opinions of "The Clinton Team.".

Amy insults Bill Clinton by making him look like a geriatric case who needs to be controlled by consultants, and the consultants insult Hillary Clinton by making her look like a candidate whose heart, brain and husband are managed by consultants.

"The Clinton Team" is diminishing both Bill and Hillary Clinton and it is not good. Bill Clinton is the Babe Ruth of politics and it is idiocy--and wrong--- for him to be insulted by "The Clinton Team" in the New York Times.
