- Vote counting machines should be kept in a locked room at all times by the county Supervisor of Elections.
- Test ballots, say 1000, should be hand counted over and over again until the tallies match and both sides have a copy of the results. All positions on the ballots should be tested.
- These test ballots should be locked in a SAFE.
- When the machines are brought out of the locked room the test ballots should be brought out of the safe and run through. Everyone must agree the machine count is EXACTLY CORRECT down to the lowest down-ballot race or the machine isn’t used.
- A Republican representative and a Democrat representative should escort each machine from the locked room to its polling location. The representatives should never lose sight of their assigned machine.
- Needs refinement to verify at any time that the software running in the machine is actually the same software (BIT FOR BIT)that made the test count.

THAT is exactly the type of action that Donald Trump has been talking about AND volunteering to be a poll watcher.
If you see something, don’t be afraid to say something.
These are all good ideas—but even if implemented we could still have a major problem.
I had a nightmare last night.
—Hillary and Trump have teams of hackers prepared to work on election night.
—They successfully hack key state voter machines at the state level.
—The numbers keep changing, up and down, plus and minus, for hours as the hackers duel.
—Some state workers in a couple of states notice that something wacky is happening and they take before and after screen prints.
—They provide that information to their Secretaries of State.
—The Secretaries of State (Democrat in states showing a Trump win, Republicans in states showing a Hillary win) contact state judges and with the information and ask to be allowed to refuse to certify states for the other candidate even though they have more votes shown on the state machine.
—The judges issue the order.
—Both campaigns ask the State Courts to maintain the injunction.
—It is determined that it is impossible to determine the actual vote because of all the hacking (and fears that there was hacking at the local level as well).
—The Supreme Court steps in and with an 8-0 vote enjoins all Secretaries of State from certifying their state votes.
—The electoral college count is officially zero to zero.
—Both Hillary and Trump supporters go bananas—violence in the street, some domestic terrorism, chaos reigns.
—Hillary’s people blame Russia.
—Trump’s people blame Hillary’s people.
—No-one can figure out how to solve the problem.
—Fast forward to Inauguration Day with no elected President.
—Under the Constitution Obozo and Bozo must step down as President and VP and......

The video had paper ballots to go back to and verify. Our county uses paperless voting machines so there is no way to verify votes.
I said this before, during a local election a couple years ago, hubby's vote was flipped. Thankfully, he caught it at the "Submit" page. He told the election officials and they just sat there with blank stares. He then reported it to the local Republican office and was called back a couple weeks later saying their investigation didn't find anything wrong. Well, duh, how can they find anything if there is no paper ballot to back up what the electronic machine claims is true?
That same election, Austin, TX was having major problems at two polling places. People had their cameras showing machines being taken out and put into car trunks. Who knows what happened to the machines or the votes on them.
