I really believe that they’ll decide it’s on you. You weren’t in the courthouse when you were supposed to be, so the judge will bang his gavel and issue an arrest warrant. “You knew you needed an ID. You had plenty of time to get a passport.”

Of course the cops will not require anything RealID-compliant to haul you away.

But, but a passport costs $110. If a free photo ID is too much to ask of voters, why should I have to shell out $110 to get into a building I’ve been summoned to and which I have helped to pay for?
