Some states, like Colorado, let you check online if they received the ballot. Your state may be one of them.
Yesterday, Oct. 19, after having sent it back a SECOND time more than a week earlier, my ballot was returned a THIRD time! So now I've inserted it into a bigger, neutral envelope and mailed it to the polling place.
