Mail-in ballots are designed for eligible voters who are unable to leave their homes, are in jail or out of the country, and many argue that such balloting is critical for those who would be unable to vote otherwise.
But the mail-in balloting process allows those voters to cast their votes from home without verification of identity, which some say opens the door for abuse.

It should not be easy to obtain an absentee ballot. I recently requested a ballot for my mom and I had to fill in her DL # on the request form, and it was stated that, if any info didn’t match up...name, address, etc., she would be denied a ballot.

I hate it too. I miss the old days when we made it a fun night. The weather didn’t matter and I actually liked it when it was raining hard, blowing or even snowing on voting night.
We also take our ballots to the court house drop box, same reason.
My sister used to administrate a nursing home and I know for a fact that the bring buses to the home, load up the Alzheimer's patient and take the to vote. I have witnessed other larger institutions set up voting in the hospital. Standard procedure.
By design. Apartment projects in Denver, etc. will have many ballots lying around for Democrat criminal activists to easily steal.

Texas has been harvesting votes at least since LBJ was elected senator.
They “found” a box of ballots in once precinct where everyone voted in alphabetical order. All for LBJ naturally.
