It is a move to blunt the bad P.R. this will bring. No one thinks Hillary’s campaign was behind the firebombing, but we all know most Dem activists would love to be able to do it and get away with it.
Oh yeah a good cover up to make it look like it was alt left kooks that did the damage.
Pretty smart of the dems to be so out of character as to help the GOP fix the damage.
