Off topic, but I have lost track of stadium names.
So the former Rich Stadium, which then became Ralph Wilson Stadium, is now New Era Stadium???
Hard to keep up with knowing which corporate sponsor is currently sponsoring which stadium.
All those names apply to the same building. New Era is the latest name to occupy the name space. For me, I call the stadium by the name it opened with alba Cowboys Stadium in place of AY&T Stadium. I make an exception for Lambaugh Field (original name: New City Stadium).
It must cost them a fortune to change the name of the stadium... and the letterhead, envelopes, signs, email, etc, etc...
Selling “naming rights” is stupid
