Trump insists election ‘rigged,’ calls for drug test for him, Clinton before debate

Donald Trump on Saturday repeated his argument that the election is rigged against him and returned to his suggestion that Democratic rival Hillary Clinton appears physically unfit to be president -- so both of them should take a drug test.

“Looks to me like a rigged election,” Trump said at a rally in New Hampshire. “The election is being rigged by the liberal media to push outright lies to rig the election."

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has since this summer hinted at the possibility of voter fraud in big, Democrat-run cities like Philadelphia swinging the election for Clinton and about having poll monitors to stop such problems.

From the article: "Trump has repeatedly questioned whether Clinton, 68, is physically up to be president."

'Speculation about Clinton’s health began this summer when she had a couple of coughing spells on the campaign trail. Then she abruptly left a 9-11 memorial ceremony and stumbled to her campaign van, which was followed by officials acknowledging that Clinton had days earlier been diagnosed with pneumonia."

"“And right now she’s resting for the (Wednesday) debate,” Trump said. “This is Saturday.”"

"He also suggested WikiLeaks recently releasing hacked emails from the Clinton campaign “makes more clear than ever” that the news media does not cover the Clinton family “the way they should be covering them.”"

I am ALL for this idea.

Well done Donald. Keep after her.

It is about time, we finally have a candidate who says things like this.

It has been over one entire generation.

If someone doesn’t watch the polls closely, there will be countless hillary followers who votes two, three, or more times.

This is crucial to a Trump win.

Sorry = but I wish Mr. Trump would not continue to comment on the “rigged” election.

It IS rigged - but talking about it doesn’t help, IMHO. It sounds like sore loser talk.

We do know that in Philadelphia, for instance, elections ARE rigged - polling places where 100% of the vote goes for the Dem for instance. We know that Hillary is so confident of her win because of the upcoming voter fraud.

Still, Mr. Trump needs to continue to be focused on the issues that matter to most people: the economy, national security, border security, etc. Again, IMHO.

Trump is setting the stage for closer scrutiny of the voting process.

Nonsense. Vote fraud is a yuge issue that needs to be brought to public attention. Only Trump can do that because the MSM absolutely will not.

I agree that vote fraud needs to be discussed. It’s just that such a focus on it - “rigged election” - seems to me to be too much. But Trump could say that to overcome voter fraud, his “movement” voters need to come out in even greater numbers than expected in order to overcome the voter fraud. Maybe he is saying this - I just haven’t heard it.

I think what he is trying to do is get a discussion going about vote fraud so that we can take measures to prevent it. If he says nothing then we go into the election with same vote fraud infrastructure that has always been there. Yes it can sound like sore loser talk, but that risk needs to be taken. Trump is a risk taker, that is why he is where he is and Jeb Bush is wondering WTF happened.

In the 2012 VP debate, Biden’s urine would have glowed in the dark.

I disagree. He is warning us. He is asking for us to help prevent voter fraud as much as possible.

There are things that you and I can do to dissuade and prevent voter fraud. If you live in a battleground state, this can be crucial to the outcome of the election.

You can catch them and stop the fraudulent votes prior to the election. It does little good afterwards, its too late.

Strongly disagree. EVERY step of the political process, for both parties, has been rigged for some time, starting with the primaries. Trump has continually identified where, specifically, the rigging takes place.

In particular, it is effective now, because with it he is targeting the Bernie voters who are still on the fence. The Wikileaks e-amils are loaded with examples of how Bernie was cheated, so saying "rigged" which he frequently ties to Bernie, is effective right up to election day.

Not a chance in hell Hillary would take a drug test without cheating. She cheats at everything. Who would administer this test and keep it honest? The best Trump can do is to keep pounding her for not taking a drug test.

Utter nonsense. Trump needs to call out voter fraud constantly. Who cares if the media attack him for it? They will attack him for everything no matter what.
