Bubba was a force of nature.

Charming, knowledgeable, likable and funny.

He had me sold at the end of the first debate.

I voted for him on the strength of the DLC platform, close to my beliefs, in 1992.

Democratic centrists today are as dead as the dodo.

Me too, and now we both regret doing it!

Dems have been proudly, openly, and blatantly treasonous sub-human filth since at least the 1950. Remember that faggot piece of filth bill clinton saying “I loathe the military.” That gem came to light the first time he ran. How did you forgive that?

DLC platform was close to your beliefs? I’m hoping you’ve changed, as I’m sure the platform was anti-US, anti-gun, pro-abortion, and pro-welfare in every imaginable form.

Ann Coulter once wrote, “Conservatives took one look at bill clinton and screamed “xxxx.” I forget the specific insult.

I remember feeling the same. I took one look at the c-scker piece of fing filth and thought he was the smarmiest, phoniest, cs-ingest monkey vomit I had ever seen. Only John Edwards was more blatantly phony.

If you were 13 years old at the time he appeared on the scene, and you were female, maybe I can see it; other than that, I wonder what you were thinking.

In ‘92 I did not vote for Bill Clinton. But I still agree with your assessment of him at the time. In fact I remember telling others that if the Democrats wanted a winning candidate they needed to run someone like Bill Clinton. At the time he successfully cast himself very much as a moderate. Hillary lacks his charm though (and anymore, so does Bill).

Actually, it called for restrictions on abortion, work for welfare reform and was pro-death penalty.

All of which were followed up in the 1994 Republican Contract With America.

He always struck me as equal parts cornpone, snake oil and smarm. He never busted 50% and ran against weaklings. I can think of worse examples to imitate, but not many.

No. The Democrats had good people in their party until the 70's. Not all of them mind you, but many of them. Henry M Jackson, John F Kennedy...Claude Pepper was a leftie but a patriot to the core. It's sad what they've become.

Yup.

Hillary is the complete opposite.

She comes across as a martinet or schoolmarm.

Her husband was a moderate but Hillary is a true leftist hard core believer.

It was obvious even then she would run on her own for President someday.

Restriction on abortion? Really? What restrictions? A simple link or some simple directions to a link will do. Work for welfare? If it called for zero welfare, period, until you work, I’ll concede. Pro death penalty? I’ll check. How about guns? How about “I loathe the military”?

BULL!!! They may have had some “good” people in their party, but the party has been anti-US since the 50s. Read “Treason” for a start. And what “good” person would ever stay in that party of cscker filth after Truman attacked the Republican anti-commies?

Keep abortion legal, safe with the emphasis on rare.

That was before partial birth abortion and all the other stuff came out.

Abortion shouldn’t be easy to procure. It should be regulated in the same sense prescription drugs are.

It shouldn’t be easy to terminate a human life.

I thought so... Lies and BS.

What restrictions? Specifically, WHAT RESTRICTIONS?

Legal, safe, and rare (I remember very clearly) was a BS line designed for RETARDS!!!!

“Hey, look! The dems do NOT worship at the altar of their GOD, abortion!!!! They really don’t!!! They want it to be “rare”!!!! See, they don’t give tongue baths to their abortion god.”

Retards ate it up. How, exactly and precisely, did they intend to make it rare?

I just read the 92 dem platform, especially the abortion part. It is a fundamental Constitutional RIGHT of every woman to have an abortion “REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhhh, next...

in 1992 I was 35 yo and trying hard to fight politics at work while trying desperately to buy a home for my family.

I needed every dime I could save, and GHW Bush lied about “No New Taxes”, I was pissed off.

I voted for Clinton not realizing the mistake it would turn out to be. At 35, I wasn’t near as savvy about politics so I thought if CLINTON LIED, WE WOULD VOTE HIM OUT TOO!

I’ve regretted that decision ever since and always swore to never vote for another dem again.

I was all over the place voting wise...

First election: McGovern. Why? I was young and the fact that McGovern flew B-25’s in WWII, successfully completed 25 missions, came home. I figured he had been there and done that, and after Vietnam, that’s what we needed.

Second election: Carter... I thought he was about as honest as the came. And he probably was. Sadly he was trampled underfoot and it turns out had some humble qualities that were just not respected in dealing with belligerents abroad.

Third election: Reagan. I was in the Military and wanted a pay raise. If I was a unionized factory worker I would have probably voted dims, but I wasn’t and I understood the difference.

Fourth election: Reagan. He did me proud and I appreciated his work ethic.

Fifth election: I think I wrote in Jesus Christ, or perhaps it was Nader. I still think Nader would have made a good bureau chief someplace!

Sixth election: Bush. I didn’t trust Billy Jeff - he reminded me of a shyster redneck politician. How about that?

Since then I have stuck with GOP. My liberally stupid eldest sister continually asks me why, so did one of my Aunties (who even said I should be ashamed) who was a union girl... to which I reply “Because I am too pragmatic to vote with the Jackasses”

And now it has to be ABC (Anybody But Clinton). The Bushes are over and the Clinton’s should be too.

I might have considered James Webb. Why? Because - like McGovern, Webb has been there and done that, and that has to count for something.

My brother showed me dozens of testimonials of WWII men who had won the Iron Cross with the Waffen SS, and Russians who won (I forget which medal) on the Eastern Front. Needless to say, these men who served pure evil had more courage, bravery, and combat experience in their toe nail clippings than you or I will ever have in our whole bodies.

That is NOT a reason to vote them into the presidency. I learned a LONG time ago, that military service does NOT equal virtue. If I’m not mistaken, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright is a US Marine combat vet from the Korean War. Should he be president?

Webb is filth, garbage, trash, scum, monkey-vomtit vermin. He SWITCHED to the party of late term abortion, gun bans, welfare, commie worship, America hating, etc., etc. I do not care how many gooks he shot; he’s degenerate filth, and deserves a vote in North Korea, not in this country.

Bill could still put down anyone like a sick puppy. Absolute master.

He and Reagan were so far above everyone else in my lifetime that is like they were a different species. NEVER out of control, always two steps ahead, loving every second of it like a great musician or sports star.

Why is everybody so eager to gag on clinton’s little giggle pin, just like Monica L.?

You compare that ccksckr to Reagan?????

I’m sorry, bro, each and every single living being on the planet with two brain cells to rub together heard the cckscker say “I feel you pain.” and fell to the floor vomiting.

RETARDS the world over, said, “Mein Gott!!!! I may not agree with the man, but he is a political MASTER, and I want to give him a tongue bath.”
