Ken Bone Quickly Falls from Liberal Grace Due to Thought Crimes
NewsBusters ^ | October 15, 2016 | P.J. Gladnick

He was the toast of the liberal media for a few days after first hitting the national scene last Sunday in St. Louis during the second presidential debate. For a very brief time he was hailed as a cuddly bear stuffed into a tight red sweater who was so cute that it made you want to hug him. And then by Friday...he became an instant non-person to liberals due to very un-PC Thought Crime remarks from his past on Reddit.

Of course, I am referring to Ken Bone who appeared as one of the undecided voters asking a question during the presidential debate. By the next day he was fully embraced by the liberal mainstream media. To get an idea of the extent of their idolatry, here is Jake Tapper gushing over how awesome Ken Bear is on The Lead:

Did this really happen or is this photo shopped? If it did happen, why?

Jeff Bartman? That poor guy can never come back to Chicago.

Yea me too. I had to go back and listen to his lame question. Liberals, I’m glad I’m not one.

Clinton wasn’t upset. The photo was taken just as he recognized Ken and went over and shook his hand. There’s video of it.

Are you thinking of Jeffrey Maier, the kid who caught a ball in Yankee Stadium, during the playoffs between Baltimore and the Yankees in 1996?

As I recall, the outfielder couldn’t catch the ball because Jeffrey reached out and caught it from the outfield seats, and in spite of Baltimore protests of fan interference, it was ruled a home run for Derek Jeter.

I looked it up. It was Steve Bartman in 2003, Cubs playoff game.

Steve. He lives in chicago and refuses all interviews and offers to make money via endorsements or commercials as well as entreaties from the Cubs to have a Steve Bartman Night and to bury the hatchet. He’s just a regular guy who did nothing a zillion other people have done and the press fncked him over since then.

Yes. The ESPN film "Catching Hell" is absolutely captivating.

Steve Bartman COULD have become rich off his notoriety, but in a very rare display of character, has avoided the limelight all of these years.

He just wants to be left alone.

Ken Bone ran TOWARD the spotlight and found his whole life crashing down around him.

As Grumpy Cat would say: "GOOD."

I hope i wasnt mean. Turns out the guy who did get the ball sold it to Harry’s bar for $100,000 and he was interviewed about it anonymously.

One of the Chicago newsrags actually printed Bartman’s address. He had to move for his own safety, and I understand he now wants nothing at all to do with the Cubs.
