After this election, no matter what the outcome, the Republican Party will be going the way of the Whigs.
Ryan and his ilk will look back and find none of the people he has been backstabbing are left behind him The Republican Party will be a headquarters with no troops.

You are exactly right. The GOPe thinks that everything will be like before, that the rebellious child will come home, but they are so misreading the base that it isn’t funny. They have been outed as liars who will give the election to a corrupt, lying Clinton rather than have an outsider win the election. That is one the best things Trump has done, win or lose, he has pulled away the mask of the GOPe and the media, and it isn’t pretty. Many have always thought what we are now seeing with the GOPe and media, but never had the hard proof. Between Trump and Wikileaks, the proof has now seen the light of day and it scares the hell out of the GOPe.
Agreed - the GOP will wither away. I think if Trump wins, it may grow back. If he loses, it will never win again nationally and most state-wides, until it dissolves.
