There are people out there saying Ted Cruz would have been able handle all of this so much better than Trump and would have had such wonderful policies to implement that they won't vote for Trump out of spite.

I was a Cruz supporter but I was grateful to Trump. I knew that if Trump had not acted as a flak shield, Cruz would have been buried in the early running and we'd be listening to Jeb Bush apologies for the 10 time for invading her personal space during a debate. *shudder*
