Christian Leader Franklin Graham Defends Trump: This Election Is About Future of the Supreme Court
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Oct 14th, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 10/15/2016 8:43:33 AM PDT by xzins

Christian leader Franklin Graham defended Donald Trump on Friday after a week of unvetted allegations by the liberal media by Hillary Clinton supporters.

Franklin reminds Christians this election is not about Donald Trump’s actions from 11 years ago or Hillary Clinton’s many lies. This election is about the future of the Supreme Court and religious freedom.

From Franklin’s Facebook page:

A lot of people are slamming evangelicals for supposedly giving Donald J. Trump a pass. That’s simply not true. No one is giving him a pass. I’m certainly not, and I’ve not met an evangelical yet who condones his language or inexcusable behavior from over a decade ago. However, he has apologized to his wife, his family, and to the American people for this. He has taken full responsibility. This election isn’t about Donald Trump’s behavior from 11 years ago or Hillary Clinton’s recent missing emails, lies, and false statements. This election is about the Supreme Court and the justices that the next president will nominate. Evangelicals are going to have to decide which candidate they trust to nominate men and women to the court who will defend the constitution and support religious freedoms. My prayer is that Christians will not be deceived by the liberal media about what is at stake for future generations.

She has openly advocated the reordering of religious faith. She is a very dangerous woman....in my opinion, given their plan to infiltrate churches, a demonic woman. And I’m not kidding.

Excellent! My only advise would be to have that designee be a volunteer and not an appointee by the church board.

Trump is doing something very significant - he is not giving up! That may seem elementary but with every attack and now the entry of the insufferable Gloria Allred, he is in fact neutralizing the standard MSM attacks. Already, this former Apprentice contestant has been totally discredited as is the woman making the claim of octopus attacks in First Class.

What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger! Watch for the crawl back from struggling senators like Ayotte, Johnson and Burr as they see Trump beat down the press and the WikiLeaks continue to unravel the democrats’ deceit and complicity with the press.

Getting back to the religious angle, Trump’s strong discrediting of these sudden accusers is very significant. Religious leaders are in a bind coming out strongly for Trump, but every time Trump credibly discredits each of them, the Christian leaders have clearance to open up. Kudos to Pastor Jeffers of Dallas for not wavering. Three and a half weeks is an eternity in politics given the intensity of this race. Christians are awakened, Trump can win this!

NC’s Richard Burr was farsighted and smart enough not to repudiate Trump before Sunday night's debate, as the others did. In fact, in his own debate last week against his opponent, a feminist former ACLU lawyer, he expressed his support of the Republican nominee, along with a well-stated repudiation of Hillary. I was pleasantly surprised!

I think Burr will win. His opponent is more leftist than Hillary.

Burr’s opponent has some very strange, unwatchable bobble head mannerisms when she is speaking. Couldn’t watch more than 5 minutes of her trying to defend Obamacare in the debate with Burr.

Our church leaders are scared to death about loosing their 501c3. I could easily be a liason as I volunteer at our County Republican Headquarters. What materials are “safe” for our skeered church to distribute? Thanks!

It is very good that Obamacare is a centerpoint of their debate. This catastrophe is a democrat-killer.

The 501-C3 should not be affected if a volunteer comes forth out of a church, but as an individual voter and not representative of the church as a whole.

Frankly, I do not know exactly how the letter was worded, whether I even should have even used the term, “designee” in my comment. Our chairman is very politically sophisticated, experienced in DC, an active Church of Christ member and a very good man, sensitive to the language issues that might trigger 501-C3 perils.

You bring up a good point, however.

On materials, it would mean simply yard signs and stickers,
and print outs of TRUMP positions, which are readily available at most all party headquarters.

We are seeking to grow the party in our county, in order to have much more sorely needed CLOUT with our DC entrenched representatives and senators. To get clout, we have to increase the party membership and begin to organize on issues enough that we can become a threat to sympathetic UniParty representatives.

We are really putting the hammer down on Precinct Chairman/Captains to get off the couch and go hustle up their precinct for activism. People need a little attention and appreciation and many will respond with time and talent.

Also, following the election, an affordable dinner is already scheduled for all the current volunteers at a well known Bar BQ restaurant.

Unlike supporting BUSH, the evangelicals will be really supported under Trump.

Burr should win, but Governor McCrory will in all liklihood lose to a pro-abortion, pro homosexual “marriage”, Obama/Clinton loving leftist by the name of Roy Cooper. The reason McCrory will lose. He stood up to the sodomite gestapo and told them grown men would not be going in female bathrooms. His courageous stand cost the state millions of dollars in revenue when the liberal, homo-loving NCAA and professional sports pulled games out of the state. NC is my home state and it disgusts me the way the leftists have taken over the state. Mostly centered around the Triangle Area, home to leftist transplants and Hillary Clinton worshippers.
