I lived in NY right near the NJ border. Everybody lived there would fuel up in NJ. There are gas stations on the Palisades Parkway, both directions, right off the George Washington Bridge which are busy 24/365 as NYers heading from or to NY fuel up.
Many people travel through NJ so they can get cheap gas, including myself. This trade will now dry up and the gas taxes collected will fall short of expectations. Not that it matters to a liberal, as long as taxes go up they are happy, like a pig in sh*t.
