Just days after ripping Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem, Ruth Bader Ginsburg admitted that really didn't have any idea what Kaepernick's protest was about when she answered a question about the 49ers quarterback during an interview this week.
The Supreme Court Justice released a statement on Friday saying that her comments were "inappropriate," and that she was "barely aware" of the circumstances surrounding Kaepernick's protest.

Maybe she just didn’t remember. That’s getting to be a pretty popular excuse for all kinds of things. In her case, senility.
I don’t think Ruthie is “barely aware” of much of anything anymore. We need these senile old clowns to be term limited.
Strike two, your honor... Maybe its time to hang it up?
They don’t even let you be elected Pope after 80. At some point, these folks need to hit the shuffleboard court and call it a day...
Senators too!
She probably got ‘rained on’ with white-hot criticism from other progressives. The “Wise Latina” probably got one inch from her face and yelled ‘Take It Back, Abuela!”
“Barely aware...” Yet, she is somehow able to rule on some of the most important legal issues of our day....
Clinton made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.
I agree. SCOTUS has become a bigger joke than the FBI and IRS.
She gave the obvious, reasonable answer, then had to “take it back” because of the political correctness police.
What a joke.
She realized she’d shot on her own goal.
...”barely aware” could be represented by “barely awake...
Aptly describes her SCOTUS votes.
PLEASE RISE
I wonder what her response would be to protesting persons in her courtroom refusing to stand up for her?

'History!' Kaepernick wrote on Instagram Oct. 15 [2015], when he marked 50 years since the Black Panther Party was founded.
Kaepernick has posted 170 photos or videos on his Instagram account in the four years since he created it. Most of his first 128 posts were pics of him in football gear, publicity photos or shots taken with friends.
But 31 of his last 42 posts have strong social justice connotations, often featuring quotes from radical Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X, Black Panthers founder Huey Newton and cop killer Assata Shakur. [aka, JoAnne Chesimard]
During a Sunday news conference about the flag flap, Kaepernick dressed in a black hat with a large, white X and a T-shirt that featured photos of Cuban despot Fidel Castro and Malcolm X.

[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [the police].
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

Give her some credit, she refused to retire under obama, making it likely that she would under a republican.
I’m not buying it .. I’d guess she received a very huge check to change her mind.
The buying of the Supreme Court has begun.
What you say might be true.
Or, it could be that one of the top puppetmasters got to her. To me the whole Kaepernick thing has always smelled of communist plot. And for this groupthink is mandatory.
