The govt was buying up ALL ammo during that rush. They were even buying mass quantities of .35 Whelen for crying out loud..... I mean seriously.....35 whelen?!
My sentiment exactly. I can't see an America for my grandchildren and great grandchildren if HRC wins this election. Would that we could have revolution with only us old ones who really know what America should be.

Uea during that time I was watch the request for quotes the govt was sending out. While the numbers for 9mm, .40, and 5.56/.223 were extraordinarily high, they were also putting out requests for good numbers of 30-06, 7.62x51/.308, and 7.62x39.
What really caught my eye though was .35 whelen, .45-70, .35 Remington, .300 win mag, .338 mag, 7mm rem mag and if I remember correctly some old sharps type rounds too. I figured either they were trying to suck all of it up so none of us could have anything, or someone in the supply chain was placing some personal orders.
But yea, they ordered a bunch of rounds that most people have never even heard of.
Being on FR does not imply any sort of military experience and/or commitment to re-employ it.
I’m not old yet but kinda beat up and my nephews and niece are my life.
I would do whatever it takes to leave them the country they deserve.
I would do it for your kids and grandkids too.
