Russian Government Officials Told To Immediately Bring Back Children Studying Abroad
Zero Hedge ^ | 10/11/16 | Tyler Durden

Posted on 10/11/2016 6:20:10 PM PDT by Enlightened1

In Europe, when it gets serious, you have to lie... at least if you are an unelected bureaucrat like Jean-Claude Juncker. In Russia, however, when it gets serious, attention immediately turns to the children.

Which is why we read a report in Russian website Znak published Tuesday, according to which Russian state officials and government workers were told to bring back their children studying abroad immediately, even if means cutting their education short and not waiting until the end of the school year, and re-enroll them in Russian schools, with some concern. The article adds that if the parents of these same officials also live abroad "for some reason", and have not lost their Russian citizenship, should also be returned to the motherland. Znak cited five administration officials as the source of the report.

The "recommendation" applies to all: from the administration staff, to regional administratiors, to lawmakers of all levels. Employees of public corporations are also subject to the ordinance. One of the sources said that anyone who fails to act, will find such non-compliance to be a "complicating factor in the furtherance of their public sector career." He added that he was aware of several such cases in recent months.

It appears that the underlying reason behind the command is that the Russian government is concerned about the optics of having children of the Russian political elite being educated abroad, while their parents appear on television talking about patriotism and being "surrounded by enemies."

Children studying abroad are a soft target for terrorists.

you are wrong to think putin is an idiot. Push comes to shove he will bloody Obama’s nose and disgrace him before the world. Unfortunately it will cost the lives of some of our people.

He thought he was going to march into the Ukraine and everyone would think him a great man. He destroyed himself.

A lot of folks respected him in the West. In one fell swoop, he destroyed that myth.

He has held onto power for sixteen years now. He has the potential to turn into one of the old school idiots.

Here was a guy that had the west cheering him on. Now he’s on the brink of WWIII.

That’s bright? Not buying it.

What’s more, if he’s so brilliant why would he mess around with a man as foolish as Obama? Putin can’t possibly think Obama will react rationally if Putin does something.

That’s why I said Putin is a fool.

You push around someone you know. You don’t push around a egomaniac narcissist who has been served by nothing but yes-men for the last 30 years.

Obama has been on the fast track just like Clinton was. He was prepped for this since he was a child. I don’t believe this just happened.

He had deep money pockets supporting through school. I think his mother had him connected to very subversive Leftist from day one.

Clinton was picked up by the Fulbright foundation (believe it was Fulbright). Nobody ever told either of these men no.

They don’t know the meaning of them not being able to do anything they want. Right now, that’s the last guy we need at the helm.

I think Putin views Obama as a guy that will back down. No, Obama is stupid enough to take it to Russia, and this will escalate out of control.

If Putin were smart, he’d know that. He doesn’t.

He’s sabre rattling again calling all his citizens home. That is meant to sent a message. It will fall on deaf ears in our White House. Obama is as clueless as anyone I’ve ever seen when it comes to foreign affairs.

What’s worse, he has Hillary and McCain advising him.

Two bigger fools there have never been. The three of them got us into this in Syria, and Putin isn’t kidding around.

That’s his mistake right there. He thinks Obama will come to this senses. He hasn’t got any.

Children are a soft target for terrorists, whether studying abroad or at home. All you mothers had better consider this when Hillary opens the muslim floodgates in our country. Any of you mothers still undecided in this presidential race?

You’ll be soooooooory.

Me neither.

He’s an assassin and still KGB in his heart, but he hates islam an whether he believes or not is trying to give Christianity a prominent role in his country because he knows of the beneficial results.

ISIS is only losing since Russia stepped in.

You’re wrong. Up to now all of Russia’s actions indicate he is for Trump.

Just a thought, contrarian, but if Putin was/is planning a power grab or second communist revolution he’d want this talent back home and more importantly not acting as articulate dissidents criticizing him aboard.

Push comes to shove, Putin would cause serious problems for Obama and the nation. That’s not to say that he is smart though.

Bullies can prevail or cause serious injury, but that does not make them smart strategic thinkers. It’s just makes them ignorant bullies.

I wonder if it has to do with any war plans.

That seems to be Rush’s line of thinking.

Maybe the administration is trying to threaten the Russians in private, to make them stop releasing hacked emails before the election - and the Russians are calling the bluff with their public actions.

Brinksmanship.
