It was just a cashier. The CEO of Kroger has stood up for conservatives. He said no to the gun grabbers and despite extreme pressure from anti-gun groups, Kroger stores are not gun free zones and concealed carry is ok. Let’s not get carried away here.

The incident has led the Blue Bow foundation, which works to support police officers and their families, to sever ties with the grocery chain.

How about you tell Blue Bow that they shouldn't "punish an entire corporation."

Got any family that are police?

I do.

Trader Joe sells garbage and outright poison as “healthy,” “organic,” and “natural.”

I’m not going to tell Blue Bow what they should or should not do, that’s up to them. I speak for myself.

I do work in law enforcement.

When I started working at Pavilions part time I balked at joining the union. They sent a union rep from LA down to Orange County while I was on shift to “talk” to me.

Took me in the back room and attempted to change my mind. My boss had to pull me out of the conversation; we had customers stacking up.

I quit not long after that episode.

Can’t believe there are some on this thread who are not supporting the police.

I agree. Service is rude and terrible. When I go there, which is rarely, I use the self-service check-out.

I would never boycott a store because their parent company employed a cashier who misbehaved. Now if they supported that single employee or the parent company or their subsidiaries gave money to Black lives matter that would be a completely different thing.

And please note that not all Target stores are toilet perps. Ours here for example isn't. They have separate restrooms for males and females.

I read your posted press release from 2015...but since Kroger has Thom Thumb in their website at this very moment I will assume due to regulators and the vagaries of monopolistoc regulations....some Thom Thumb locatuons went to the Safeway-Albertson’s merger group and others and the corporate name “Thom Thumb” went to Kroger in the always present property selloffs.

At the local Fry’s the clerk, in a conversational way, asked if I was carrying. I answered “always”. It took me back for a moment, until I realized I was wearing my NRA cap.
As it happened, I had my 1911 in a shoulder rig. She said she preferred her .38 snub because she usually carried in her purse.

I’ve always thought it a funny name for a grocery store. Friend worked there for a couple of yrs and employees refer to it as “The Teeter”.
