NFL may go the way of MLB.

I watched most of the Texas Rangers home and away games, and until the last couple of weeks of the season, the stadiums were 1/3 to 2/3 empty, game after game, week after week. Apparently, the MLB no longer cares about ballpark attendance and instead rely on TV broadcasting as their main revenue source.

Of course, the prices of the extras — food, caps, etc. — don’t help entice attendance.

With over 160 games per season, one would have to be a very dedicated and financially well-off fan to attend a large number of games.

Because folks knew what was coming, living around here it was like the Rangers weren't even in the playoffs, nobody cared. And then we saw why.
