Well this year that outrage is even more so. Eight years of Obama and the left doing essentially whatever they want with little or no opposition. The level of discontent is so high right now that ANYONE could win against Hillary. And with Trump fighting it's near a certainty that he's going to win. People are going to roll through broken glass, barb wire, poison gas and snake pits to vote for Trump. THAT'S why they're the mainstream media, the republicans and the dems are scared. They've lost control of the electorate.
Just got off the phone with the clerk.
We have closed primaries. Being as I was Unaffiliated, I could not vote in the primaries unless I declared for which party I was going to vote (procedural). So, my vote for the conservative (yes, we have one here in NJ), served as a declaration for the GOP. As it stands, unless you request a party affiliation form and resubmit is as party whatever, I will remain a GOP affiliate.
Don’t like that at all. Apparently, this threw a lot of people off in the recent primaries.
Is any other state like this?
That’s normal in every state, AFAIK.

I have just switched so indie, so I’m about to find out.
The auto declaration will not happen in a general election as they are open. Only in primaries.
The election office said not to expect a switch to occur until the end of the year. They are absolutely deluged with similar requests.
