Market ticker ^ | 10-11-16 | Denninger

Someone claiming to be associated or affiliated with Anonymous has, it appears, discovered that at least one of Hillary's "private-***-private" servers is on a public cloud.

Anonymous is working nonstop 24-7. My evidence? Massive Skittles and Monster shortages at most stores.

I’ve always noticed in movies and TV that henchmen are usually pretty stupid.

Another example. A contract group hired to wire several buildings of new offices miles apart. I was consulted to see what they were doing. The lead contractor refused to show me any of his project plans and work in progress. Because it was a mess. He had scraps of papers in his pockets as notes, and got them mixed up or lost some. Not only that, he was bringing in his young teenage son to do some of the wiring. His workers (henchmen) were young inexperienced novices. He got pushed out the door, and me and a group of techs had to come in and correct all the wiring snafus without any documentation of what had been done before our intervention. Every wiring closet, every offices' outlets on every floor was wrong.

LOL

Actually, though, they have better OPSEC than that.

Have you ever heard about the “Pizza Watch” incident? During one of the Gulf wars (won’t say which one), agents for the other side watched for a spike in pizza deliveries to the Pentagon late at night. They knew that meant a new offensive was coming soon.

Didn’t help them, they still lost. Badly. (We won both wars, lost the peace due to spineless politicians.) But anyone in the security world knows not to do such things anymore.

“After a year long investigation, there is no evidence that anyone hacked the server I was using and there is no evidence that anyone can point to at all. Anyone that says otherwise has no basis that any classified material ended up in the wrong hands….and as I said there is no evidence that any classified information ended up in the wrong hands.”

Very lawyerly. She doesn't admit she didn't do anything wrong. She just says there's no evidence... Even though Comey said there is.

And it's interesting wikileaks and anaonymous are going after her. They are anarchist socialist organizations. Hillary probably never thought she would define the corruption of the establishment. Too bad they all fell in love with the teleprompter messiah or he would have never been more than a crackpot black caucus member.

Say what you will about Anonymous. But since they hacked it the Church of Scientology may never recover.

Tho I can't pretend to understand much of it, this stuff from your link confirms my 'neck hair distrust' since Day 1 of ever trusting anything valuable - nevermind sensitive - to the 'cloud':

- - - - - -

If you want to know why the media will not bring any of this up it's quite simple: All the "cloud" providers will have their forward business prospects instantly destroyed if it becomes common knowledge that there is no such thing as a secure encryption key that is both in-use (that is, unlocked) and on ANY VM that is running in a place where you do not have absolute (both physical and logical) control over the host.

Oh, and this is never true on a public cloud (by definition ) and cannot be made true because by definition the host process can access any of the VM "guest" processes address space.  This means that everything in said "guest" process (the cloud "instance") is always accessible without the knowledge or consent of the administrator of the cloud instance.  "Cloud" computing and indeed all virtual machine operations rely on this fact and until and unless CPUs are developed that allow for per-VM write-only decryption keys that can be loaded "out of band", enabling fully-encrypted RAM with no way for the host process to recover the key and no unencrypted memory anywhere in the running image it cannot be fixed.

In turn this means that the only legitimate use for public cloud resources is to store and distribute public content that you do not mind being released.  You can safely use a public cloud server to run a web page that has only public data on it, for example, since the entire point of said server and page is to publish material to anyone who wants it.  But as soon as you require access control (e.g. security, logins and encrypted passwords, billing data, etcor any sort of "controlled" material (e.g. encrypted data such as credit cards, private email, etc) you are betting on the security of components not under your control and in fact potentially under the control, whether directly or through various forms of compromise (whether bribery, blackmail or simple stupidity) of explicitly hostile persons!

I expect that Anonymous will expend efforts to counter ILLary’s pending vote fraud. If they do, they will succeed. Yes, they are that good.

The grasp that so many of today's kids have of this technology often boggles my aging mind.

I wish them all the best should they choose to put their skills to the above challenge !

Get Off My Cloud
The Rolling Stones

I live in an apartment on the ninety-ninth floor - of my block
And I sit at home looking out the window
Imagining the world has stopped
Then in flies a guy who’s all dressed up - like a Union Jack
And says, I’ve won five pounds if I have his - kind of detergent pack
I says, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Don’t hang around ‘cause two’s a crowd
On my cloud, baby
The telephone is ringing
I say, “Hi, it’s me. Who is there on the line?”
A voice says, “Hi, hello, how are you?”
Well, I guess I’m doin’ fine
He says, “It’s three a.m., there’s too much noise
Don’t you people ever want to go to bed?
Just ‘cause you feel so good,
Do you have to drive me out of my head ?”
I says, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey!…
I was sick and tired, fed up with this
And decided to take a drive downtown
It was so very quiet and peaceful
There was nobody, not a soul around
I laid myself out, I was so tired
And I started to dream
In the morning the parking tickets were just - like a flag stuck on my window screen
I says, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Don’t hang around ‘cause two’s a crowd
On my cloud, baby
I says, Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Hey! You! Get off of my cloud
Don’t hang around ‘cause two’s a crowd
On my cloud, baby

The NYT official policy (and I’m sure most of the media) is

“do not publish hacked information unless it makes Trump look bad.”

While Trump is called out in the official policy they will make exceptions for anyone else they don’t like for the good of the people (the rich liberal people to be specific).

ILLary has really ticked off Anonymous. While I am not always a fan of theirs, I definitely would NOT want to be in their crosshairs.

How did she tick them off??? Anonymous has always been rather liberal have they not?

saw a video with them on the topic of vote fraud telling Trump to have pollsters at each precinct in swing states with lawyers ready to jump for any regularity.

Keep in mind that this server is probably not related to the email server that “Was” under investigation. And remember that Hillary is no longer an “Official” government employee.

Go to the site and read what he said....it sort of sounds like there might be classified info on it or he is telling her she better hope she was more careful with this cloud account because it is going out to the world. Either way if there is classified info on it, this is a whole new ballgame and the world will have access to classified info, if it is on this account. You would have to prosecute....even this corrupt FBI and DOJ. If not it will just give Americans an opportunity to see who she really is. I would never want to be a politician!

Anonymous is definitely not conservative and you could never count on them as such. But I read somewhere that after the release of the “Trump” tape they made a statement. It might have been debate night. But the statement was something to the affect that Anonymous had warned them(democrats?) that if they went down that road then there would be serious repercussions and now there would be. Exactly what Anonymous was talking about I don’t know, but they were obviously ticked.

Back in June I posted this

“The only “ground game” Trump needs is to have poll watchers and attys. in swing state polling places that consistantly come in late and for RATS.”
