Variety is reporting that Access Hollywood was working on an edited version of the tape that would have removed and thus protected Billy Bush—but that the full version got out before theirs did.
Access Hollywood is an NBC property, owned by Comcast, for which this man has ultimate control: Brian Roberts.
And this is his wikipedia page description of his political involvement:

So my guess is that the Dems were working to use it to do in Trump as one of their October surprises, but the GOPe/Ryan group had a hold of the unedited tape and released it to try to knock out Trump this past weekend.

“Morality” is just camouflage the likes of NBC and other MSM use to hide their hypocrisy and treachery towards the American people.
Right now I am so mad that I will be voting for Trump only. There will be no down ballot for me.

If he is really the one who disclosed the existence of this tape to the media, I certainly hope that they reward him by blackballing him. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. (Never heard of him before, BTW but then I don’t watch the boob tube) ...

Was this video recorded in California? Was it done without Trumps knowledge?
If so, the Billy broke the law since California has a two-party consent law for recordings.
The rumor was that when Reagan won the Republican nomination for President he was persuaded to accept GHW Bush as his running mate after the GOP showed him the brush they were going to tar him with.
My guess that is was something similar to the Bush/Trump tape. Had a recording of Reagan speaking like this gotten out, he would have been finished politically.
I am sure Bush was expecting some sort of medal for his “feat” instead of swift purge. Maybe he can find a job as Carlyle Group.
