Not necessarily. I had a bad few months where it seemed the police were right there when I did my one act of the week type of traffic violation and I would get a ticket. I was starting to shake when the police would approach my car because it meant getting another few hundred dollars in fines and some demerits.

I don’t mule drugs.

I had a similar experience - one day I was having a really really really bad day... I went through the “afterglow” of a yellow light and got pulled over. I totally lost my composure.

The copper took pity on me and gave me a pass.

I was extremely relieved.
