RNC member: I am not voting for any Republican who is not backing Trump
CNBC ^ | 10/10/2016 | Lori Ann LaRocco

Over the weekend CNBC learned a page on Facebook called Vote Out Every Republican That Opposes Trump was created, and members like Diana Orrock, Republican National Committeewoman for Nevada, are promoting the page in their status posts encouraging followers not to vote for the candidates who they feel have abandoned the GOP presidential nominee. "As national committeewoman, I am supposed to keep my personal beliefs to myself, but I have never been a party-over-principles type of person. I have always been a principles-over-party individual," she said.

"I am no longer endorsing Joe Heck in the Senate race," explained Orrock. "How hypocritical of him to denounce Trump on comments that were 12 years old and locker room banter? By not endorsing Trump, he is supporting Hillary."

And get what? A guarantee that congress will be anti-Trump? At least the RINOs might help out.

There is no visible difference (with a couple of exceptions) between the Democrats and the Republicans. They just play a game, good cop, bad cop and change roles as needed to keep us, the public, in the fold.

I’m with you there, but are you voting for Kirkpatrick or leaving it blank? I swore I was voting for her, after Ward lost the primary, but her commercials have made that almost impossible too!

I agree, but DO NOT vote democrat, find a good Conservative and write in his/her name. Coordinate it at the local level. Let’s drive the riff raff out. This is our time.

YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT GETTING IT!

Donald Trump is the end result of a Republican base seething with rage and frustration at the feckless GOP Congress.

He defeated 16 other Republicans - not by "sticking with the issues," not by "reaching out to moderates," but by EXPOSING them as the hypocrites and shysters they are and how they've played conservatives election cycle after election cycle.

What do you think he's going to do with Republicans in Congress if he assumes the Presidency?

He's going to be hard on them. He doesn't owe them ANYTHING. So he'll be in a BETTER negotiating position.

With the Dems?

Nothing. Nada. The Democrats will use every procedural, parliamentary crap in the book to stop Trump's agenda. They will use Congress' powers to the fullest, unlike the Republicans who have all the opposition of a wall-mounted deer head.

You also have to look at the flip side as well.

Remember, Trump is NOT a constitutional conservative. Trump is a stop-gap, a bandage gauze on the massive wound inflicted by 50 years of progressive politics. He could very well end up like Schwarzenegger, cutting deals with Democrats to get things past, so that Dems won't send the dogs after him.

So having a Republican Congres - at least the Freedom Caucus and other conservatives - keeps him HONEST. It keeps him honest to his pro-life stand and to traditional marriage and stopping the transgender bathroom stuff.

I don't want federal expanded child-care that Trump supports.

A Republican Congress led by the Freedom Caucus can kill it.

A Democrat Congress will scream that Trump isn't going "far enough" and blacks are left out - so Trump will expand it and increase spending even more.

I was exactly there yesterday... a Ward voter that just finally decided to suck it up after Kirkpatrick ran ads saying she will work against Trump every chance she gets... so will McCain though, now he’s doing it without me, still not sure I can vote for her, it will probably just be decided without me. I have not voted for him for 12 years as senator... I did vote for Palin tho for Veep. Guess mine is a half vote again as in one less vote they need to beat him

I sympathize with AZ conservatives on this: if I lived there, I would have to skip the Senate race, as I did in TX in 2014.

Yeah that’s the way I am leaning now, after swearing to do my part in voting against and getting rid of our old fart incumbant... the asshole promised last time was it, but why would he start telling the truth now.

Extremely Extreme Extremist,

No, we get it. We are not supporting limp wristed weak kneed politicians and candidates that fold when challenged or lie to lead us to think they support something they really don't. Trump can cut the same deals with Democrats as he can with Republicans. And I personally don't care if he is not a "constitutional conservative". Lyn' Ted was promoted as one and look at that lying piece of trash got you and us.

Everyone but Trump is Uniparty!!

Perhaps most. But not everyone. Trump will have some allies in Congress. Sen. Sessions, in particular, is a good guy to have on his side.

Throw the disloyal bastards out.

In favor of what? Throw out the Uniparty Republicans and replace them with the only other option -- Uniparty Democrats? Is that what you're proposing?

My US Rep Fincher is retiring after 2 terms, I have no idea where former TN GOP leader David Kustoff stands on Trump he’s kept his mouth shut. Tends to be a conservative. He won the Primary vote, and his opponent is a unheard of dem. No way can I vote for a dem.

David Kustoff has won the crowded Republican primary race for the 8th ... He faces Democrat Rickey Hobson in the heavily Republican district.

This is absolutely not the year to be replacing Senate Republicans (even RINOs) with Democrats. If the Democrats take the Senate then it will be judicial Armageddon even if Trump wins the Presidency.

Under the 20th Amendment, the new Congress takes office on January 3 but the new President does not take office until January 20. That means that if Trump is elected President and the Democrats retake the Senate, then Senate Majority Leader Chuckie Schumer will have almost three weeks to push through ratification of all of Obama’s nominees from the Supreme Court down to the district courts and all of the federal agencies and there will not be a damned thing that Trump or the Republican minority will be able to do to stop it.

When Harry Reid unilaterally abolished the Senate filibuster for all Presidential appointments except for the Supreme Court the ONLY reason that he left Supreme Court filibusters alone is because there were no Supreme Court vacancies at the time. Chuckie Schumer will unilaterally abolish the Supreme Court filibuster 5 minutes after he takes office.

It gets worse. Scalia’s Supreme Court seat is not the only Supreme Court seat at issue. The day after the election, far-left octogenarian Justices Ginsburg and Breyer will announce their retirements if it means that Obama can fill those seats as well. They probably already have the young far-left wing radical replacements picked out. That will mean a far-left wing Supreme Court majority of Obama appointees will be legislating every aspect of our lives for the next 30 years.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

A whole lot of Obama’s damage can be undone immediately without Congress — rescinding all EOs.

And regarding the biggest disaster of all — ObamaCare — October is open enrollment. ObamaCare rates are going up next year as much as 65% in Minnesota, one of the bluest of blue states. 65%!!! Since 2010, polls have consistently shown over 60% of Americans are disillusioned by ObamaCare. Any Congress — GOP- or Dem-controlled — would have a hard time resisting Trump’s push to rescind/replace.

Cancel all of Obama’s EOs and give me back my health care, and I’ll be a happy camper. Much more to do, sure. But if we accomplish just that in the first four years of Trump, he’ll have massive coattails in his 2020 reelection bid.
