Go to Washington in my truck and be sure to have my power tools with me so I can help to build a large sort of a stage kinda thing, with stairs going up to it and some trap doors built into it... and a heavy, strong wooden beam about 10 feet above it that runs the length of it and is centered over the trap doors?

It’s called a “dance hall”.
The dance most commonly performed there is the Tyburn Jig.
