You generally can’t demand anything if polling doesn’t show you ahead.
If I were Trump I’d say two debates is enough.
no blue walls or floors
At this point Trump can actually control the narrative of the “debate” even though the Democratic machine is throwing everything at him. To pull out now would not be a good optic to the remaining undecided masses.
Add to that that there’s likely to be some additional surprises in the remaining 9 days, the debate will provide the best opportunity to provide a response which the MSM must put before the public instead of choosing to bury it.
Trump and the RNC should demand a complete overhaul of the Presidential Debate Commission. They have failed the American public repeatedly, for decades. That is the source of the problem. Go after the source.
Wallace will enjoy seeing Clinton getting destroyed more than his distaste for Donald. Hillary will dodge the debate.
I am sure Fox News will tell Wallace to destroy Trump at the debate.
Trump must show, or Hillary will show and do a one-sided debate attacking Trump for not having the guts to show up.
Chris Wallace is a metrosexual who admitted that he had a “man crush” on Mitt Romney in 2008. He said this live on the Howie Carr Show, and finally stopped making appearances because of the nonstop razzing he took as a result of this confession.
Candidates can’t demand. They show or they don’t show.
Strobe lights...just some small ones
He should demand a disco ball be prominently displayed. Keep HRC mesmerized and twerking..
I suspect that almost anyone whose mind is not cast in stone for Hillary perceives the moderator’s active bias quite clearly. The natural reaction is revulsion and resentment that rebound against Hillary. It presents Hillary as a weak, sneaky cheater, provides an excuse for any time Trump under-performs, and distracts from his weak grasp of policy-wonk details. Biased treatment from the news media is going to be there; Trump seems better than prior Republican candidates at turning it to his advantage. Whether the costs and benefits come out as a net plus would be hard to gauge, but canceling future debates would make him look weak.
Hannity. We have never had a conservative moderator.
Missing a primary debate hurt Trump so he shouldn’t blow off debate number 3. What he should do is start cleaning Wallace’s clock now, before the debate.
I like it, they will want those viewing dollars so it could work!
I don’t try to guess what Trump should or should not do. He has done many things and said many things that in the first 6 weeks of this made me cringe then after a couple of days he gained in the polls and with voters by it. His instincts are superior to any of our reasoning. The only thing I can say that I wish he had said in the debate last night is just in the nature of putting an extra juicy strawberry on the top of the ice cream, to wit, I wished he had responded to the mantalk tape accusations with a particular Reaganism, “I was a Democrat, then. Things have changed since then.”
Flash cameras.
Front row seats for Bubba’s victims.
No chairs for sitting.
No more liberal moderators tag teaming Trump while Hillary recovers.
That would be stupid. The debates help Trump, and he can turn the moderator bias into a plus like he did last night. Hillary would love no more debates.
I’d say you’re onto something.
