Conservative Mormons Revolt Against Donald Trump
Buzz Feed ^ | October 9, 2016 | McKay Coppins

The leaked video of Donald Trump’s lecherous musings had only been on the internet for a few hours Friday when the Mormon backlash began. “I’m out,” Utah congressman Jason Chaffetz told a local news anchor in Salt Lake City. “I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president. It is some of the most abhorrent and offensive comments that you can possibly imagine.” The interview made Chaffetz the first Republican in Congress to officially retract his endorsement of Trump, and by next day he would be joined by dozens of his colleagues across the country. But in Utah, conservative Mormons were already mounting a wide-scale revolt against their party’s nominee — a repudiation so swift and severe that some GOP insiders believe the deep-red state could be thrown into contention in the final weeks of the race.

“I’m out,” Utah congressman Jason Chaffetz told a local news anchor in Salt Lake City. “I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president.

And yet we wonder why his investigations, like Issa, and Gowdy Doody go no where.

Actually, that is another thing I have come to realize during this election cycle.

That I will NEVER think of a Mormon in the same light again. I will ALWAYS distrust them now for the rest of my life. There is just something very wrong there.

From now on, I will have to judge each one, one at a time. But sorry, I will always start my “timer” with a jaundice eye. Just waiting for the knife in my back.

“We did not want Romney or McCain, Bush, etc... That is why they hate us more than Obama or Hillary.”

So I take it you were fine with allowing Obola to work his destruction on our country for eight years! No pragmatism with you guys. Let’s allow the “real $hit” candidate to abuse the country right? I am quite surprised that Donald Trump passes your “religious litmus test.” And just “whose Christianity” is the “right Christianity?” Your brand, but not your nextdoor neighbors, because he goes to that “other denomination?” And how about the Televangelists, are they really in it for “Christianity,” or just for the money. I know, let’s ask Joel Osteen what’s really “in his heart ( read wallet).” I am not “sure” about anything regarding religion, and those who say they are “sure,” “think” with their hearts not their heads. But if what you say is true about supporting Trump, that’s a good thing. For once, you are going to help your country.

would have extended World War II by removing George Paton from his command in 1943.

But, but, but he slapped a child and said bad words.

“ Their God” is going to save them ( but probably not the country).

He is your God too whether you acknowledge Him or not.

Destroying Christianity, along with any semblance of morality, is one of the major goals of Communism, they really don't need any help.

"I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president."

"his investigations . . . go no where."

Which proves Chaffetz's conscience is situational.

In Utah, they have the “2 state” rule.
You can do things two states away from Utah and its fine.
If you go to Mesquite Nevada, the security tells patrons not to take pics near casino because the “Patrons” need their privacy.

They also like to go out of town on the weekends so they don’t have to go to church.

This is the reality.

There is no room in the democratic party for near do wells, so they invoke Reagan and become a Republicans. They wield far more power in both parties that way.

Their followers are from the same IQ demographic as muslims.

Come on now 72 nagging virgins or your own planet. Mormons get a much better deal.

Yes, he did. The tension of combat can get through sometimes, even to one of the truest heroes America has produced in the last Century; but in Paton’s case more through concern for his overall command, than his personal safety. Paton, of course, also had some views of the male/female drama that would have bothered some of the sanctimonious twits, who seek to curry favor with the PC media by wringing their hands over some tasteless fantasizing by a man whose shoes they are not fit to shine, eleven years ago.

But that said, I will focus on getting that contemporary civilian Paton elected; leaving the sanctimonious twits to wake up or stew in their own bile.

Anyway, there are a lot of people on FR who would say I am ineligible because I was born in the U.S. but my mother was not an American citizen at the time (she became naturalized when I was about 10).

And they would be absolutely correct.

It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

“Destroying Christianity, along with any semblance of morality, is one of the major goals of Communism, they really don’t need any help.”

Who’s talking about “destroying Christianity” here? I just wished all Christians would stand up for their country in a way that is meaningful. Distainfully sitting on the sidelines is helping the enemies of Christianity. “All that is needed for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.” I see a lot of Christians as “good men doing nothing!”

“October 11, 1798 John Adams”

Unfortunately, it’s October 2016 and John Adams and his compatriots are long-gone. How about playing the hand you’ve been dealt. While it’s nice to know how John felt, it’s irrelevant today probably in large measure due to “diversity” that all the churches push as desirable. Personally, I’d love to see a country populated with people like were here in 1798. Blacks back to Africa, Hispanics back south of the border, Asians back where they came from, and most importantly every muzzie sent back to his favorite sand dune. If that were the case, John Adams statement would have some relevance.

All Churches don't push this but the ones making big bucks surely do. You may have noticed that we now have a Pope that is Communits through and through since that was also one of the Communist goals.

28 Communist Goals

The following goals of the Communist Party, USA were entered into the Congressional Record on January 10, 1963:

1. U.S. acceptance of peaceful co-existence with communism.

2. U.S. promises to surrender rather than engage in atomic war.

3. U.S. acceptance of the premise that total disarmament would be a sign of moral strength.

4. "Free trade" with communist nations.

5. Long-term "loans" to Russia and communist satellites.

6. Foreign aid to communist nations.

7. United Nations recognition of Red China.

8. UN representation for each of the Soviet satellites.

9. Acceptnce of the UN as mankind's "only hope."

10. The use of court decisions to undermine the constitutional rights of Americans.

11. Using the public schools to teach socialist and communist propaganda, and to "dumb down" students.

12. Communist control of campus newspapers.

13. Use of student riots to trigger public protests against U.S. policies.

14. Infiltration of the press.

15. Control of mass media.

16. The degradation of American culture and art.

17. Controlling art critics and museum directors to promote ugly, repulsive, and meaningless art forms.

18. Repeal of all laws banning obsenity.

19. Promotion of pornography and obscenity in the mass media.

20 Establishing homosexuality as normal and natural.

21. Infiltrate churches to replace revealed religion with the “Social Gospel" and deny the truths of scripture.

22. Banish all prayer from public schools.

23. Discredit the Constitution as old fashioned and a hindrance to international cooperation.

24. Discredit the founding fathers as slave-owning aristocrats who despised the common man.

25. Promote all movements aiming to centralize government control over cultural and social agencies.

26. Transfer arrest powers from the police to social agencies and reduce all behavioral problems to matters only a psychiatrist can handle; for example, arresting and imprisoning parents who use corporal punishment or home-school their children.

27. Infiltrate the psychiatric profession and use it to promote "mental health" laws to oppress those who oppose social disintegration caused by the Communist program.

28. Undermine the institution of the family, encourage promiscuity, and easy divorce.

Once again, your picking a fight with the only ones who have stood against Obama. Oh, by the way, we are also the only ones standing against people like Joel Osteen and the other televangelist liberal pro-sodomy, pro-abortion, church! It is not the Democrats or GOP! And who said there was a religious litmus test? You?
