Yes, there were probably Muslims in the United States during the founding of the country. But they were very small in numbers and played no significant role in establishing our independence. They certainly played no role in the writing of the Constitution or Bill of Rights, as those documents are fundamentally incompatible with Islamic Sharia law.

So like “Black History Month,” whatever role they played will be blown out of all proportion with historical reality to push a political agenda.

The only influence muslims had was creating the Marines to go over there and stop them from enslaving Americans, the Barbary pirates.
