Watching the HRC rally in Michigan. Five minutes in and already interrupted three times! They didn’t show the disruptors though. Here is my question though: At the beginning of the rally, she stated that today is the last day to register to vote in Michigan. She added that “people with clipboards” are coming through the crowd to help you register if you are not. Isn’t this illegal? I thought those who registered people to vote could show no party or candidate affiliation? Am I wrong here?

I suspect the people doing registration are technically in compliance. I don't know that there is a per se ban on registering voters at or near a rally.

There were ladies walking the line waiting to get into the rally I was at asking if you needed to register and could help with that(had the form) or if you wanted to sign up to help the Trump campaign. So, it’s probably OK.
