More likely coup scenario: They get enough of Trump's electors to vote for somebody other than Trump (look up "faithless electors") that the election gets thrown to the House of Representatives to pick a President. And they pick somebody other than Trump.
Trump can win the popular vote, get awarded a majority of electors, and still get screwed out of the Presidency.
Trump supported McCain over Kelli Ward in the primary. This is how McCain pays him back. McCain is a back stabbing POS. I hope Trump learns the lesson.
