True that. Just smile and say “You’re probably tight, sweetheart.”

Women are as eager to see a woman POTUS as blacks were for Obama. Arguing against that emotion? Can’t possibly win or end up in a positive place.

Then tell her you’ll get ready to sell all your guns and put a ‘Gun Free Home’ sign on the house, cuz Hill’s gonna win and she doesn’t like guns. And that you’ll pick up some dresses for your son to try on, just in case he’s leaning that way. Then...

I cannot tell you how the election will turn out - there is simultaneously too much information, and too much uncertainty.

However, your wife’s logic is faulty: if the people going to the rallies don’t answer polls, but they also vote, then this is a very large number of people who’s preference in the race is not being recorded on Trump’s side of the ledger. Therefore, according to her criteria, Trump SHOULD be doing better than the polls indicate (which is YOUR position).

Apologies to all lady FReepers who actually have their heads screwed on straight, but I have found that most women do not follow or practice logic. They react to most things on an emotional level. Again, MOST, but NOT ALL. Of course, I get myself in trouble by attributing this to X Chromosome poisoning, the effect of which is to severely constrain the logic function. :>)

Polling has been unbalanced. As many as 20% more
Democrats are being polled. That isn’t fair-—but since when has the media been fair?

Since about when Eisenhower was in office, IMO.

>>So pointing out the obvious about Trump is bashing, is it?
************************************************************
Point of view, Arrian, Point of view. Many here would disagree with your negative assessment of DJT’s personality traits.

>>According to the site descriptive; FR welcomes an exchange of ideas and differing opinions. Apparently you don’t, which is your call.
************************************************************
According to the site’s owner, Jim Robinson, Jim does not want to have posters repeatedly trashing Mr. Trump, which your pejorative descriptors do.

You incorrectly jump to conclusions when you state I “apparently don’t” welcome an exchange of ideas and differing opinions. Using negative adjectives to describe Mr. Trump’s personality is not “an exchange of ideas or a different opinion”. It’s just rude and unwanted on this 100% PRO Trump site. The owner has stated multiple times that if posters feel this way, to please “take it elsewhere”.

>>As for Trump, I intend to vote for him, whatever his warts. My observation derived from his poor performance which was as obvious as 2+2=4; a cold reality his staunchest supporters publicly affirmed.
**************************************************************
“Warts, poor performance”, etc. There you go again. Your repetition of negative pejoratives of MR. Trump are not welcome here.

>>The swing block in this election is neither D’s nor R’s; its the non-affiliated independents who basically detest politics and politicians. If you think they were impressed w/a grown man scowling for 90 minutes; I suggest you think again.
***********************************************************
And again, “grown man scowling”. I see no “independent voter” polls indicating what you write.

God knows we supporters see and hear enough disgusting negative words about MR. Trump without having to see and read them here. Please take it elsewhere.

You sound like a keeper. We have you beat at 38 years later this month. I think I have heard my hubby say “you were right” maybe 7 or 8 times. When he does say it I ask him to repeat it and we have a good laugh. We don’t argue and usually agree.

Look up Bill Mitchell - he can explain it https://twitter.com/mitchellvii?lang=en

The poll demographics are weighted disproportionately to Dems and Women, also Independents are underrepresented. The LA Time/USC poll is different and shows Trump ahead.

uh,that’s one poll out of a dozen. look at the dorsnilf poll or Rasmussen:

besides, it’s the state polls that matter anyway, not the national ones.

“I was just pointing out that the poster was right.”

And I’m still pointing out the poster is wrong.
