It was a pot plant planted on a plat and not in a pot.
I’ve had family members with addiction struggles. Restricting access to the drug or throwing them in jail hasn’t helped them.
Portugal spends money on treatment instead of incarceration and rates of addiction have fallen dramatically.
That was an eloquent sumation.
I live in MA, and know for a fact that helicopter surveillance in search of marijuana, and swat team confiscation of the plants, is standard operating procedure every year.
They do it every fall out here in farm country. You see the black, military style helicopter gridding above the farms, searching. It is thoroughly disgusting.
I can only imagine how many thousands of dollars per hour it costs to keep that helicopter up every day of autumn, all so 15 jack boots can descend on the random herb plant here and there. What a waste, although I’m sure the guys doing it think it’s great sport, and don’t give a thought to the millions of dollars wasted. Helicopters don’t fly cheap.
