Water logged ground and conduits don’t mix.

St Augustine can flood during high tides without a hurricane.

"...same here with the snow. they cut everything near any kind of power or phone/internet lines.." Unfortunately, I now live in western Washington (near Tacoma), and everyone up here just luuuuuuuuvs trees. So you have the ludicrous situation of having a 40 foot tall power pole, and 20 feet away a 120 ft tall fir tree. We now lose power if someone farts, much less have the wind actually BLOW. Fortunately, the water table is low, and undergrounding "does" work, so things are SLOWLY improving.
But I will soon be heading back South, as the state is being more and more Californicated.

Do you actually believe in your heart of hearts that either the media or the Government would have the audacity to lie to the public do you? Of course they would, but I think faking a hurricane is still beyond their current capabilities.

Guess you forget the media and government agencies predicted a 140 mph winds at landfall for Mathew , landfall in Florida with 140 mph winds . So yeah the media and gov lied. Step out of the matrix. the media and gov are the enemy cause they are liars for one thing and they are lying to destroy us Americans.
Drudge and I were right again. So I'm vilified on a conservative site for exposing the liberal media lies and posting truth. No wonder we are in trouble .the media is the problem and the enemy
