It’s sort of odd that none of the available weather stations reporting show really high wind speeds. The Category 4 winds must be very compact.

All those people from Dade, Brevard, and Palm Beach who followed orders to evacuate now clogging the roads trying to get back home. I just hope they don’t run out of gas on the highway.

My family evacuated from Jupiter and Lake Worth. Glad they did but still can reach them. Watching the local news from there..they got hit with huge rain bands in both places but not the devastating winds. So far, I’m relieved and thankful. Prayers up for friends in Stuart/sailfish point, Hobe Sound and points north. Stay safe, all.
