Washington (CNN)The Hillary Clinton campaign requested Thursday that The Weather Channel delay airing its campaign ads until Hurricane Matthew passes.

"Earlier in the week we made changes to our TV ad reservations across hundreds of stations in several battleground states including Florida," Jesse Ferguson, a Clinton spokesman, said. "Less than 1% of those changes included The Weather Channel. We have requested that stations in Florida delay any of those ads on the Weather Channel until after the storm passes."

I wish Trump would take on Clinton after this hurricane and remind America that it was Bill and Hillary Clinton’s oversight that bilked Millions of dollars that was supposed to be spent on Haiti after the sunami.

So HIllary, given that it was YOUR idea to use (How many people could have been taken care of instead of used to investigate us excuses) from the 1990s, HOW many Lives would have been saved this week in Haiti had you not stole that money and built safe housing for those children?

* To promise that her policies would prevent hurricanes, and open up ridicule
* To disrupt real news with fluff or bigger bluster
* To prove that you can politicize ANYTHING
* To generate jokes that will go on forever as to who is the bigger blowhard
* To make this her Katrina instead of Obama’s

I think Reince hit her on this then she pulled the ads

Pulling these ads after getting caught won't cut it. @HillaryClinton should apologize for using storm for votes https://t.co/JGxTZrsnUN— Reince Priebus (@Reince) October 6, 2016

Clinton delays Weather Channel ads until after Hurricane Matthew passes...who watches the Weather Channel when there isn't bad weather on the way - the whole idea of advertising there was because there'd be a lot of viewers for the hurricane - then somebody got cold feet and realized it would look like taking advantage of people's misfortune to be putting up ads there now - what a bunch of buffoons......

They have no problem taking advantage of others misfortune for their gain.

Probably the constant optics of Hillary and a hurricane back to back-one disaster after another. Manmade destruction during the commercial break and natural destruction during programming.

"I have not had TV since 1997 so I have to ask: How can a “weather channel” survive?"

Ads every two minutes...
