I thought it a hoax until I realized it does look like the beginning of the bridge, and the truck wears it's insp/dps pics like we do (did) in TX, even though I can't make out the plates.

Just heard that guy interviewed on local news here...Dave is his name. He’s so nonchalant it’s mindboggling. He’s got a 40ft boat tied at dock and secured to a couple of freakin palm trees. The storm surge there will be around 10 feet...

all you gotta do is look at photos of the Hugo aftermath to see what a hurricane can do to boats. we saw the bit on the news about some guys riding it out on the St. Johns river. crazy people!
