To: alarm rider

Possibility of looting has not been the main reason for people staying in their homes. Many are simply very old, and don’t want to be bothered with the hassle of breaking their daily routine. Denial of the danger is another reason for staying.

A friend of mine lives in Port Saint Lucie. Can’t believe the media because they simply lie or exaggerate so much - how bad are things really going to be down there? He said they’re looking at cat 4.

I think also some think about the dome during Katrina and saw what being in a shelter might mean......some feel safer in their own homes if they can buckle down safe enough.
