Hurricane Matthew is big, bad and just downright scary, with iminent and sustained impacts to U.S. mainland. Florida Governor Rick Scott issued a state of emergency for all of Florida and disaster operations are activated. More than 1.5 million Floridians reside in current evacuation zones. Governor Scott has spoken with utilities across the state to ensure utilities are pre-positioned and there are no unmet needs. Multiple coastal hospitals have been evacuated. Meanwhile, feckless President Barack Hussein Obama is personally monitoring the progress of the storm.

Matthew’s greatest impact may be sweeping all the Zika mosquitoes out to sea.
Will do. Just took my dogs out to pee and it is not too bad out there. Worst is not over yet, but I think we dodged a bullet. Power is also still on.
I think the concern has been exactly the reverse, wherein Caribbean mosquitos with all of their tropical diseases would be carried into the U.S. mainland via Hurricane Matthew.
Check their website, and/or the number itself online. That sounds like it could be a scam.
It takes strategic timing to deploy rapid dog outings between storm squalls.

The Tropical Storm Warning along the East Coast of Florida south
of Jupiter Inlet has been discontinued.
The Hurricane Warning from north of Jupiter Inlet to Sebastian Inlet
has been changed to a Tropical Storm Warning.
Truth is town after town is dodging some really bad stuff as the storm stays just offshore and allwe get is the non-dirty side and moves at 13-14 knots. A fast forward movement like that is truly a blessing.
