During MSNBC’s coverage of Tuesday’s Vice Presidential Debate, MSNBC anchor Joy Reid argued that during the debate, Democratic VP nominee Senator Tim Kaine lost the point with his “over-caffeinated presentation” and “just as me watching it as a woman, I thought that it was sort of rude to the moderator” to keep “pretending that she wasn’t even there.”

I’m closer to 70 than I am 60 and I can’t recall anything like this current obsession on LIBERAL women’s feelings. Please notice that I stressed LIBERAL WOMEN because the NORMAL WOMEN in my life don’t give a flying fig about such nonsense.
It wasn’t “over-caffinated” - it was a conscious strategy. It’s exactly what Biden did to Ryan last election. But this time Pence was ready (and was a better debater). Pence was able to parry the constant attacks very deftly. Quite impressive.

I like this line of attack. Quick, get it out there, that Kaine was a boorish ass, just like every womans rude husband, who would not listen to her and talked over her, etc etc etc... turn about is fair play.
So this Joy was more troubled that Kaine was more rude toe the female moderator, yet not bothered that he was more rude to his opponent?

She's assuming political candidates come to these things prepared to beat up and get beaten up, and thinking that a moderator is a non-combatant who should be treated with a little more respect.
It's way too late in the day to expect politicians will treat each other with any respect, but when others get caught in the crossfire, viewers may pay attention.
Joy Reid has to be an affirmative action hire. She cannot possibly have gotten her position through a display of intellect.
Rude to the moderator? Did Kaine interrupt her seventy times?
Gee if only I knew who Joy Reid is.

Kaine was very rude.
It also seemed like the volume on Kaine's microphone may have been a little louder than Pence's. Whenever Kaine and Pence were both talking at the same time, Kaine's voice was louder.
I had zero problem with that. This was the first debate where the moderator wasn’t a full participant. She wasn’t perfect.... but a debate is supposed to be between the two, with little or almost no action from the moderator.
