We need to stop generalizing about Muslims, stop being afraid to touch on religion, and take off our blinkers so that we can have a factual debate, argues Magnus Ranstorp, an expert on radical Islamist movements at the Swedish Defense University. [ ]
For over 10 years I have warned about the development of these jihadist environments. So lets not ignore the reality any longer.
There are many explanations for why a curtain has been drawn over the debate. A general lack of knowledge and a fear of touching on religion in social debates has been strengthened by activists, who have opportunistically seized upon that fear for their mobilization purposes.
Through claiming that it stigmatizes Muslims the door has been closed on the debate, time and time again. [ ]
To end the polarization we must also not fall into the trap of speaking about stigmatizing Muslims at every turn that false generalization only strengthens polarization. Speak instead about Takfiri jihadism and start to understand that normal Muslims already get that distinction.

So change brushes dumbass. Or use a sprayer.
Never saw a moderate Nazi, never saw a moderate muslim.
It’s time to push a new narrative: “We don’t hate muslims, we hate islam....”
islam is a totalitarian death cult founded by a child rapist.
But I’m sure a few of its adherents have managed to be decent people in spit of all that.
I only need one brush......and one broom.
We don’t paint all Muslims with the same brush. We just realize that a large number of them hate us.
There are still atheistic communistic terrorists.
Islam 7s evil to its core. Some muzzies are not, but they should eschew Islam and convert to something more civilized. All SA money and imams need to be refused.
‘It’s time to stop painting all Muslims with the same brush’ (Swedish Defense U professor)
Why?
If they are muslim they follow Islam.
Islam is a death cult steeped in oppression, fear and death with the goal of world dominion.
The current US president says there is no such thing as a peaceful Muslim - they are all the same so no need to call those who kill innocent people “radical Islamists” since that would imply that a group of non-terrorist Muslims exist.
Hopefully Trump will be the next president or we’ll have another 4 years of a president unable or unwilling to say that some Muslims are peaceful.
I would prefer if they were painted with a laser designator.
‘It’s time to stop painting all Muslims with the same brush’
Uh-huh.
But it’s okay to keep sliming white people, Christians, conservatives, Republicans, Israelis, Americans, etc.
The ones serious about the savage teachings of Islam and therefore oppress others viciously. These we should keep out of the free nations.
The ones that are merely oppressed by the first kind and want to escape them and would rather embrace a culture that is not as savage, these we should let migrate to the free nations at a reasonable rate, and we should be able to make reasonably sure they are not members of the first group pretending to be the latter.
Obviously, the violent mobs that were let into Europe en masse are overflowing with the first kind. So their immigration policy is a complete fail. They need to admit this, and work to remedy it, rather than close their eyes to their error and lecture those of us with common sense.
Exactly. “All you white, racist, right-wing extremists need to stop stereotyping.” Riiight...
The problem is that the second kind can give birth to the first kind. Vetting for the long run is impossible except for a permanent ban.
No such thing as a “Moderate” Muslim. They are either a “cultural” Muslim, which is basically an unbeliever, who just goes along with the culture they came from, or a Muslim, who cheers on the Extremist Muslims without wanting to get their hands bloody.
Moslems all come out of the same paint can. Why should we use different brushes?
