I think more likely is them showing a statistical tie a week before the election. Showing a Trump lead would be anathema to them. Ok here is a prediction. I will bet you by end of next week, even the USC poll will show a Clinton lead. Pearl clutchers in the conservative press and talk radio cabal fainting, FReepers getting frustrated and angry. talk of ...oh the Romney fade is happening, Trump tweeting again, markets showing Clinton win, Nate Silver..... It will look very grim. I hope you guys are bracing for it. Last push of the glabalists.

Haruspication is the historic term associated with this practice. A trained seer (or one that had some kind of divine transformation) supposedly could foretell future events by studying the intestines, liver and other internal organs, as to the placement, the color, or other pertinent signs.
About as accurate as most other kinds of “predictions”.
