I haven't watched an NFL game since pre-season, when Seahawks' punter Jon Ryan said he didn't want "homophobes" (i.e., gay marriage opponents) as fans. Whatever you say, Jon. Then along came the BLM stuff, to seal the deal.

Meanwhile, the Seattle Mariners held their first "gay pride" night and suspended a player for criticizing BLM and Barack Obama, so I abstained from MLB from early September until season's end. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

I was disappointed to see on the news an Indianapolis Colt photographed participating in this nonsense the other day.

There have been some great NCAA games this year. They are far more entertaining than any NFL game could ever be. Except for the super bowl, I haven’t watched pro-football or pro-basketball for several seasons.

NFL could be pulling record ratings. I still am not interested.

Let’s see what happens next week when golden boy Tom Brady is playing.

Maybe if DoD paid the NFL to have their players stand for the anthem this wouldn’t be an issue anymore?

Tennessee/Georgia is not recommended for viewing by alumni with heart conditions.

NFL = Not for Long...as they have surrendered their sport to politics.

At least Brady won’t have the added pressure of delivering a perfect season. LOL

Don’t kid yourself. The NFL will be around long after this contretemps blows over.

Wisconsin is underrated. Michigan State overrated (Indiana proved that Saturday night).

Ohio State has the winning formula: SEC speed at the skill positions with a Big 10 line.

Even better yet...

The New England Patriots basically took a bye and saved Rex Ryan’s job in the process. Belechek let Buffalo win to save his guys and Rex’s job until the end of the season. Ryan owes him big time, as getting fired week 4 is usually a career ending turn of events for a coach. Look at the injury report for the Patriots after that game...

Brady is back next week, and the Pats are 3-1 and will make the playoffs with a 12-4 record. Buffalo OTOH, will be lucky to go 5-11 and Rex will be done.

I have noticed that all the games I have watched, they do not show the playing of the National Anthem.

They do however mention during the games and show the players who did not stand.

Absolutely. UNC-FSU, TCU-Oklahoma, Indiana-Michigan State...there were a lot of excellent games this weekend.

I really want to see the NFL crater over this business. You’re right, they will most likely survive, I just hope that it is at a much reduced level.
