“Trump needs to get back ON MESSAGE or he will lose!”

If pounding Hillary into the dirt on a ton of different topics for an hour isn’t on message, what is? He tried to mostly just focus on the issues and defending himself during the debate; I’m not sure the passive nice guy approach works for him. Historically, it seems to work better when he goes on mega-offense, like he did in this speech.

“Come on, Trump; attack Hillary Clinton.”

You could not have possibly have watched his speech in PA and say that (remember not to take the press word for it—see for yourself). I thought that could well be his most effective and hardest hitting anti-Hillary speech for this whole election cycle. He’s decided that the gloves are coming off, and he attacked her hard on a plethora of issues regarding her scandals, horrible comments about Americans, and failed record. I couldn’t have wished for him to do more against her in a single speech. The old fiery Trump, who had always been on the offense, was back but with more focus than in the primary days. It was that Trump who dispatched with 16 strong GOP contenders; it was the “new Trump” who did worse in the debate than he should have.

I thought maybe he shouldn’t be aggressive and hard-hitting like a lot of the pundits said, but Hillary was on the offense continually and even though what she said was mostly socialist platitudes and ad hominem attacks, most people perceive her as the winner because she was continually on the attack. At this point, I’m starting to think more that Trump needs to get aggressively back on the offense and pound her into the ground constantly. This Manheim, PA speech was a great start to a more dominant (rather than defensive) strategy.

It's not what he does during the debate (except when she baits him and he takes the bait). He can hammer her on soooo many levels. She has more baggage than a cruise ship. He must learn to pivot back to important issues when she baits him.

Pretty much what I figured. Big mouth on the Internet, but you have no facts to back up your slanders. Sounds much like the MSM.

You probably had multiple Os when McCain told his female supporter that she has no reason to fear a homobama presidency. McCain was only into the issues, and still, he got his ass royally kicked.

Nope, you’re too prissy to let Trump attack hillary’s character when it is one of many ways to destroy her politically. Trump must be polite and submissive. It’s how you like your men.

Testicularless.

You cannot handle Trump’s winning style of fighting that has clobbered the whole prissy field of GOP primary opponents.

Prissybama.

I totally agree that he needs to learn to not take her bait, especially in the debates where time is limited. He needs to be the one in control and get her on the defensive instead. That’s why I loved this speech in Manheim. That Trump could spend 25 minutes away from the prompter (in addition to all the prepared hits on her) attacking her aggressively gives me hope that he can really take the battle to her in the future and not let her set the agenda.

More slander. I pity your life and those who have to live around you.

I would ask you to find any post where I supported Obama, but you won't do it. Spineless is the word that comes to mind.

My thoughts as well. Too many arm chair quarterbacks are telling Trump what to do. I expect Trump is fully aware of the stakes in this race and it is his instincts on how to run the race.

Trump has now devoted 15 months to the race and thus far his strategy/instincts seem to be working.

Some people might get upset that Trump gets into the weeds on some topic, but at the end of the day, those same people realize Hillary is the alternative and they quickly come back to their senses.

Wow, you sure do like to attack character.

Of course, you will be in denial of your own hypocrisy given that you yourself attack character but denounce Trump for doing the same thing.

Unstable.

There is something in Trumps personality that says you hit me and I'll hit back twice as hard. Although I cannot say I disagree with that trait, I also know it won't get votes. Trump should realize that while he can't get justice for her many crimes now everything changes if he wins the Presidency.

Do not underestimate him. He’s got the sharpest knives working for him.

I'll believe it when he doesn't piss away an election that is his to lose.
