Watched Todd with Rudy Guilianni on MTP and Rudy ripped Todd a new one.

Let me get this straight. somebody released a copy of Trump’s 1995 tax return where he claimed a loss.

BUT IT’S ALL LEGAL!!! Even the NY Times admits this.

What do they think, that Trump should have said never mind to this big business loss, I want to pay some taxes.

WHO DOES THAT????

Do they think we’re going to get all upset over this out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our backs and where we NEVER pay more taxes than we have to?

I’m missing something here.

And this Mook guy denies they’re not pulling out of
Ohio.

This Mook guys, he’s like what.....17 years old?

And he likes guys so I hear.

I’m thinking one of Donald’s ex-wives released a copy of the return. Probably Ivana.

Very well thought out commentary, bray.

Hopefully, Trump will not allow Anderson Cooper and the Hillary campaign (but, I repeat myself) to get under his skin and put him off message like they have with that Brazilian skank and "birther" and tax distractions. He needs to focus on the goal. They will some up with something else in the next round even more ridiculous to set the media off and running and ignoring the criminality and incompetence of Hillary.

As you say, this campaign is not about him or defending himself from false and scurrilous attacks. It is about him being the champion of the American people and defending us from their wicked, corrupt, and un-Constitutional depredations. This really is our last chance at righting the ship of America before we go under, and Trump is acknowledging that now in all his speeches.

The entire Clinton Crime Cartel should be in jail and not sitting on the cusp of being our permanent emperors - and they are only the tip of the foul iceberg of what goes on in Gomorrah-on-the-Potomac.

Warren Buffet says he pays less taxes on his income than his secretary. Buffet is a Dem so it is not worth mentioning.

Doubt Ivana would release anything detrimental to Donald. She gave a glowing endorsement of him for President. Why not someone inside the IRS? I have no doubt Koskinen or one of his politically-appointed subordinates would be happy to provide this information to the DNC and the NYT. Lois Lerner took the 5th and was never prosecuted.

Jake Tapper's turn to beat on Rudy. First subject, taxes, "do you dispute the authenticity?"

Rudy says, even if it is, it's perfectly legal, and not only that, Trump has an obligation to use tax deductions, otherwise he is open to suit for loss of jobs, investment, etc. Brings up GE example. It's part of our tax code. He used it to the benefit of the people he is serving, his employees and customers.

Tapper asks whether failing to use the tax law makes a person stupid?

Tapper asks Rudy if Rudy pays taxes. Rudy says that is between him and his accountant. Jake makes a mocking "I'm shocked" face. Tapper wants to know who would sue him. Lenders, for one. Tapper says "Let me ask you another question" Funny how they move on.

Many successful business people don't look for every opportunity to avoid paying taxes, and tries to move on real fast so Rudy can't answer. Rudy says avoiding hanging fruit tax breaks is stupid.

Moving on to "Yeah, but losing a billion dollars proves he is a bad businessman." Rudy cites Steven Jobs (fired from Apple) and Winston Churchill again.

Tapper says there is no way to know Trump's income last year - Rudy says look at his FEC statement. Tapper is genuinely offended that Trump has not released his taxes.

Rudy says the news is "Trump takes advantage of legal allowances in tax codes". Tapper insinuates that Trump is breaking the law, because most people pay taxes. Tapper asserts flat out that Trump does not pay federal income taxes.

Rudy again says that if Tapper has a problem with the law, then argue the law, not that Trump used the law.

Tapper's last argument is a wild and unsubstantiated allegation, Hillary is not faithful to Bill. Is that normal and stable behavior by a presidential candidate? Rudy says, well, after Hillary says Trump is racist, misogynist, etc., Trump makes a sarcastic remark. Same question that Todd finished with, are you the right messenger for casting aspersions on marital loyalty?

Tapper moves on to discuss Saturday Night Live. I am not making that up.

Oh, dang it!

I forgot to ask you all in the 1st post...

Do you think the US National Anthem will be played in London, or “God save the Queen”?

AND... Will any players decide to sit down or kneel during either?

Probably sit down for “The Star-spangled Banner”, stand for “God Save the Queen”!

Exactly great point.Anyone willing to research the details of the Libyan war created by ozero and hillary will get a real look at what really happened to 7 million people who did not deserve a war or the slaughter that happened to them.

Here’s a start:

Speaking of Matthew...y'all might remember my story of my visit to Massachusetts to the Fish people, my beloved Billy's family.

I took my beautiful granddaughter, who is almost 13 and she met Matthew, my nephew, who is 14 and a political junkee to admire.

So a picture of Matthew Fish, who will someday be President and who now represents, get this, Suffolk county Massachusetts as a quasi-United Nations representative.

I have no idea what this means except he's coming to DC for it and do not forget my beautiful granddaughter who....well who knows, she might one day be first lady.

You never know.

You’re right. Ivana’s been mum about Donald, so has the other one, the one on Dancing With the Stars.

If the IRS released it why wouldn’t they do something a little more recent than 1995?

-- Good segment, and today the hippy is an overt partisan hack. --

Jake Tapper lets his inner asshole loose on Rudy this morning. Anybody who thinks Tapper is "fair" hasn't been paying attention. He's a bigger hack than Chuck Todd is, and more talented at his craft (being a political advocate) than Chuck Todd will ever be.

To me, I dislike the term “avoid taxes”. The correct term should be he paid his taxes, even IF he paid nothing. The LAW allows all kinds of deductibles, charges, etc., as long as everything is well documented and itemized. This way, the government can even check later to prove the accuracy of the statement.

So, if Trump or anyone in this country filed their tax document, in accordance with the law, then they HAVE paid their taxes.

Let the New York Times prove his tax return false. I’m sure the democrats and IRS would love that. However, if he filed and it was accepted, they can all go pound sand.

Trump should simply point out that his many accountants simply follow the tax law as written by Congress. Hillary could have changed it when she was selected NY senator and of course did nothing. Why do you think Wall street pays her so much?

Nope. Trump should pivot and talk about the thousands of people he employs. Then ask what Goldman gets for paying Hillary $10,000 a minute to speak, the system is rigged, etc. Trump is spending way, way too much time defending himself. He needs to attack, attack and attack some more.

_________________________________________________________

Have to say, I do like that approach. He could point out too that all of the Clintons charitable donations are to themselves via the Clinton Foundation AKA crony employment service.
