He should succinctly do both and state 1. He was minimizing share/stakeholder losses while doing nothing illegal in a tax system her husband lorded over and 2. If the tax code is so undesirable to her, why has she spent zero time working on changing it (as HE IS proposing in his platform) throughout her several decades in governance yet she had no problem taking millions from Wall St execs for “speeches.” #releasethetranscripts. Extra point for working in that the 2008 collapse/gov bailout was in part do to unwise mortage lending policies enacted during her husband’s reign which she was involved in.

In general, he needs to choose his words carefully and stop taking her bait and getting personal, instead turning everything back to her repeated hypocrises, corruption, and failures (noting that at least HE has learned from and improved upon his mistakes).

He also needs to stop his current angle of attack on Bill’s womanizing and instead keep it why she would not only choose to remain with such a man but actually enable him by covering up and accosting his victims. That undermines her woman card/championing and attempts to peg Trump a misogynist.

Guiliani and Christie did a good of this om their rounds this AM. Perhaps drop the “genius” proclaim as it might not go over as well as simply stessing Trump has the plans and know-how to fix the system.

Todd just showed statistics that prove Trump’s lack of a ground game and his supporters ignorance about ground games will be his biggest obstacle to winning.

Trump and his supporters will not be able to blame vote fraud or other events, no matter how true. Their failure to run a winning campaign will be the difference...if he loses ... and if he squeaks in when he could have had a mandate.

Most likely nobody will have a mandate. The country will continue to be divided. 2018 will continue the battle. Will the Trump types (and the Cruz types) get smart and campaign with their brains?

2018 will determine who does gerrymandering after the 2020 census. That will determine the next 10 years.

Eh, that’s one where again, your average woman gives the cheated on wife enough sympathy not to blame or question denials.

Any such hits are counterproductive unless they go for Hillary’s siccing the PIs on Bill’s victims to intimidate and investigate them. And even that is probably a risky distraction at this point and needs to be done by surrogates farther removed from Trump than Rudy is. Also, Rudy’s only marital record even further dictates that he not get near this line of argument.

I for one am withdrawing from GOP Inc once Trump is out of the picture, in six weeks, four years, or eight years.

I’m alienated by their tactics and lack of results.

The problem isn’t ground games or congressional lines. It’s a Republican opposition that is inept and ineffective.

If Trump doesn’t win, we’re looking at an ascending and dominant liberal status quo for at least fifty years.

I’ll vote, but have no illusions that my guys have the capacity to accomplish anything.

What a good idea. Trump allies should with great fanfare (show the audience) give as gifts tee shirts that say I’m with Hillary.

Yeah. Stupid is the wrong word, she's ruthless. And I agree, calling her out for that is also a risky endeavor.

The woman card is powerful. If Hillary is elected, it will be because women voted her into office.

20 year old story about Miss Universe and Trumps taxes. Looks like Hillary kept all the FBI information from her days in the White House.

When Dana Perino talks, I always think she is about to say something stupid. She kind of speaks haltingly as if she herself isn’t confident about what she is about to say.

I agree that these three are good insiders and one would hardly know they are Dems at times.
But none of them are attractive..maybe that’s why they aren’t featured more. Cuz we know how much FNC values how their guests look!! s/

>> He also needs to stop his current angle of attack on Bill’s womanizing pedophilia and rape history <<

Nah, he needs to lay the groundwork by telling the truth. Because of Hillary's coverups, many don't know of the bent one's past as a serial rapist and predator. Now they can look it up.

and instead keep it why she would not only choose to remain with such a man but actually enable him by covering up and accosting his victims.

He needs to do both so it will have the desired impact .

I’m sorry folks, but that tax story is going nowhere.

Someone upthread asked about this earned income credit and since a)I did payroll all my life and b)I know a lot of people using this thing.....only the elected and ruling class give two shits about tax returns.

You notice you never see voters coming out and demanding tax returns, only the political class. That’s because voters too deal with tax returns, they deduct their home mortgage interest as allowed, they LOVE the earned income credit where it’s now gotten to the point that they actually can get this money EACH AND EVERY PAY DAY.

Voters aren’t going to get in a snit about Donald Trump’s tax return from over 20 years ago and frankly voters aren’t going to be weeping over Miss Piggy, who got elected Miss Universe then promptly violated her contract by gaining 60 pounds.

We get this kind of thing out here in la-la land where we carry this country on our backs. We deal with all kinds of taxes and goodness losing and gaining weight is a national obsession.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Jake Tapper has plenty of tax deductions to minimize his taxes as does everyone in America. It is only a crime when a Repub takes deductions.

It is not a loophole in any sense. A net operating loss carryforward is allowable under section 172 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The NYT partial release of Trump’s 1995 tax return will be the big subject of today’s shows. The meme will be that Trump pays no taxes

Check out the following link re NYT paying no taxes in 2014 . Drudge is running the original link in his daily headline...

Actually, the Tea Party and Repubs have a much improved ground game. They just haven’t gone into voter fraud like the Marxists have.

Chris Stirewalt and Dana Perino have a new show on FNC that is about the most pathetic hour of TV I try not to watch.

Thanks for the warning. I mute or turn them off when they appear, now i know what time to avoid even turning on the channel.

They are both opinionated smug people .

Stirewalt is just an A Hat. Dana I originally liked, but she has shown her true colors.

My question to Dana. Why weren’t you so forceful in defending GWB when they attacked him over “ Bush Lied - People Died”

I guess you couldnt come up with a “ pivot”... Another word I refuse to use....

Exactly, because, hey, you LOST money!

How can you be taxed on money/income you don’t have???

The whole Leftist spiel on this is insane. How stupid do they think we are?

This is nothing but an attempt to score political points. Ipso facto.
