Washington Democrats’ strong bid to take control of the Senate by defeating several Republican incumbents is showing a few signs of struggling in the final weeks of the election cycle.

... with less than six weeks before Election Day, Rubio is maintaining a roughly 6-percentage-point lead. And the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is cutting back a planned advertising blitz in Florida, which includes canceling ads into early October.

And as soon as he is re-elected he will be pushing for a path to citizenship (amnesty) for illegal aliens.

Unless we stop rewarding betrayal, expect more.

I haven’t heard much about the Democrats taking the Senate, Hillary must be dragging their campaigns down.

I will take Rubio as Senator as long as Trump is President.

How can this be? According to the MSM, Hillary is leading in the polls. Won’t she sweep the Democrats onto office?

Rubio is supporting Trump for President; do you want Trump to win or just attack everyone and lose ? I sure do not want him to lose. We need all of the support we can get.

Trump is on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
I want him to win.
Rubio has betrayed the citizens and will again.
I do not endorse rewarding weasels.
I know, he has that magic R jersey on, he’s still a weasel who with Graham and McCain armed jihadis in addition to trying to give the country away to illegal aliens.

We should give these guys a chance to redeem themselves and see what they do when there is some leadership at the top.

The Quislings and ideologues will be flushed out eventually, but people who have done things due to the rudderless nature of the party for the past couple decades should be given a chance to do the right thing. I’m willing to give Rubio that chance.

Some of that information is old. Evan Bayh (D) has turned into something of a joke in the Indiana Senate race, for example.

A 50-50 Senate wouldn't be a bad thing, on the other hand. The 34 seats up for election this year included 24 held by Republicans and only 10 held by Democrats. If the Democrats can't win control of the Senate in a year like this, they may not have another good chance for a while.

awwww...and Obama his own self cut commercials for lil’ Patrick Murphy, the pro-infanticide “businessman” who has his adult daughters cutting commercials for him like he is the just the bestest.

Patrick Murphy learns the hard way, just like all Democrat voters, that the fake leadership of his party says to him “So long, sucker.”

Maybe so, but when the guy is sitting for an interview and he doesn't even know his own address in Indiana, it's not likely to go over well with the voters.

...

Rubio has shown us what he is. He stands for nothing but his own advancement. There will be no redemption. But Trump and the GOP had to support him or most likely lose the seat.

I’m sure not a huge fan of Rubio, but, I’ll take him any day over a DEM. It’s sort of like the devil we know, versus the devil we don’t know. DEMS are the curse on this country. Rubio is strong on some issues, and I think he would work with Trump. The DEM - not now - not ever - he would work and vote against Trump at every turn. We sometimes have to play the hand that is dealt us.
